Alpha Darwin's POV

''Mate distressed.'' My wolf hollered loudly in my head, which caused a cold shiver ran down my spine. Curiously, I glared at Elliot, whose eyes were fixed on the big screen having a conversation with Darin. '' Mate in trouble.'' My wolf howled, and that forced me up on my feet. '' Is something wrong?'' Darin asked, while I responded with a simple nod, ''I will be back.'' I placed a kiss on Elliott's forehead and jumped out of the truck, making sure I fixed my face cup, so I could avoid numerous greetings.

'' Mate!'' He howled in discomfort as I hastened my feet, following the direction of an alluring, fascinating scent. '' What is going on.'' I asked my wolf but didn't get a response, rather he kept howling loudly in my head, forcing me to quicken my steps. Hastily, I followed the direction of the scent, only to realize it led me to a dark corner, steps away from the female restroom. ''Let go of me.'' I heard a soft whisper coming from a dark corner, '' Mine!'' My wolf howled angrily at the sound of the voice. Quickly, I made my way to the dark corner, took out my phone from my pocket and put on the flashlight. '' Who is there.'' A male voice spoke up the moment he noticed my presence. '' I should be the one asking you such question.'' I flashed the light and realized there were three men and a fragile looking girl on the floor. ''Mine.'' My wolf growled in anger, and just then the girl stood to her feet and rushed to me. With panting breath, she stood behind me and gripped my shirt while I groaned, irritated by her touch.

''Alpha…'' They gulped in fear as they stared at me with dumbfounded eyes, it was obvious they had recognized me. '' What is going on here?'' I demanded, angered, as a strange feeling of anger was boiling in me. ''We…we.'' they tried speaking, but she cut them off, '' They tried assaulting me.'' She whispered in tears which forced an angry groan from my lips while they all dropped to the ground and buried their faces in the ground, ''Please forgive us we were drunk and…'' ' 'Silence!'' I grumbled, and the whole place went dead. ''Kill them!'' my wolf growled angrily, which I ignored and glared at the three men trembling with fear. ''I want to see you all in the mansion first thing tomorrow morning, don't make me look for you, now run off.'' I yelled, and they all stood to their feet and vanished away.

Sighing heavily, I took off her grip from my shirt and turned to face her. Due to the darkness of the night, I couldn't properly see her face, but I could only see a glimpse of her. ''Mate!'' my wolf howled possessively, which made me groan and took a tight grip of her wrist. Within the blink of an eye, I teleported away with her, and we appeared right in my garden.''Jesus Christ!'' She exclaimed, shocked when she noticed we were in another location.

Ignoring her reaction, I stared at her and this time I had the opportunity to take a good look at her.

Her black hair was packed in a bun, she has sea blue eyes which looked terrified and out of life, her fair skin was spotless, which proves she was taking proper care of it. She was indeed a beauty, but I wasn't bothered about that, all that bothered me was who the hell was she. '' Who the hell are you?'' I asked, annoyed, while she flipped at my words, staring at me with terrified eyes. ''Human.'' I groaned out, frustrated, and ran my fingers through my hair to calm my nerves. ''I would rather not repeat myself, who the hell are you!'' I yelled and saw her took a step backward as she gaped at me with terrified eyes.

I realized my actions were scaring her, so I sucked in a deep breath and calmed myself before speaking. '' I'm alpha Darwin and I believe you are new to this pack.'' I said while she stared at me with stunned eyes but managed to speak, ''You… Are…'' ''Yes, I'm alpha Darwin.'' I cut in, irritated by her behavior. '' Since you know who I am, now tell me who you are?'' I asked with irritation, ignoring the howling of my wolf.

Gulping nervously, she took another step away from me and said, '' I'm Catherine and I just came to visit my sick Aunt.'' She whispered with fear, while I stared at her with confused eyebrows.

She was trembling like a terrified chicken, and I knew she was on the verge of losing her composure. ''Why is my wolf…'' I wanted to ask, but then I held back myself and took a deep breath. There was no need asking questions from her, my seers would give me the answers I needed. ''For your own good, I hope you didn't do anything stupid by going to meet a sorcerer to confuse my wolf because if you did, then consider yourself dead.'' I expressed those Words as a threat and turned to leave, but then I remembered we were at the mansion.

Groaning irritated, I grabbed her by the arms and teleported away. Within the blink of an eye, we appeared back at the very spot I met her. I let go of her arms, arranged my face cap properly and walked away. ''Mate!'' my wolf howled in my head, which I ignored.

I walked back to the truck and took my seat beside Elliot, who was staring at me with a suspicious gaze. ''Is everything okay?'' He asked, trying to touch my face, '' Yeah, I just needed to sort out some things.'' I responded with a quick smile and focused my gaze on the big screen, ignoring the piercing gaze of Darin. I knew he already felt something was wrong with me but what surprises me was that his wolf was calm, unlike mine who was calling a strange human, mate.

''Is everything okay?'' Darin asked through mind Link. ''Not really, let's talk when we get home.'' I replied, and he agreed to it. I focused my gaze on the big screen and pretended like I was actually watching the movie, so Elliot wouldn't get suspicious and ask what was wrong.

Within two hours, the movie came to an end and I jumped out of the truck. I entered the driver's seat of the car, while Darin sat beside me and Elliot sat behind me in the back seat.''That was incredible.'' Elliot said as I put on the engine ready to drive out. ''Hey babes.'' Elliot called out, and Darin and I answered with a hum. Elliot didn't say a word, rather, he placed a kiss on the back of my neck and did the same to Darin. ''I want you guys tonight.'' He mumbled seductively and got a throaty groan from us.
