Ariel sat in the dining room after finishing her breakfast. Her father had ordered her to remain behind that he wanted to speak to her, numerous thoughts flash through her mind which she shook off as it felt near to impossible.

'Maybe he found out about her rejecting her mate or ...'

Her mind was running different thoughts and different assumptions, her father never asks to see someone like this, unless it was something close to business.

"Ariel, have you found your mate??" Her father asked when they were the only ones left behind. Ariel could feel her hands turns sweaty. Why was her father questioning her if she had found her mate all of a sudden.

"N- No Alpha, I haven't" she stuttered, her father gave her a doubting look before nodding his head.

"Good Good".

She wondered if that was the question that needed to be spoken in private.

She had an inkling idea of why her father was asking. She knew all this were bound to happen but she never knew it will occur this fast.

Her mind drifted to her mate whom she rejected. She shook her head inwardly hopefully that whatever her father's reason of asking her about finding her mate would be a good thing and maybe, just maybe it could get her thoughts from her mate. Her wolf felt too weak that she could barely feel it.

"You will be meeting with someone tommorow, he is very important, so be on your utmost best behavior, okay??"

She nodded, her mind was in a total mess and she didn't have the strength to even speak much. Everything felt draining to her.

Her father stood up ready to leave, She gave him a slight bow as he majestically stride out of her presence.

Zeres woke up feeling a bit of sore on his neck. His wolf was a bit weak and though he had the power of an Alpha it didn't stop the pain of rejection.

The blue moon pack had many loop holes and it was built to this power level with the help of pure deceit. He knew all this and it pained him that he couldn't do anything to expose them yet.

For years, Zeres had been through so much on the training ground to get to this position he is, and now that he was only a few step to his goal. Ariel arrived flicking his world upside down.

His mind drifted to his childhood which he spent with thousands of children like him. They were all strangers who were put together in one common place, studying and training to become warriors of the blue moon pack.

For children the training was a bit more taxing even for someone like Zeres who had the strength of an Alpha, and it took a lot of power and might to conquer all the tests.

The desire for revenge fueled him to work harder and longer than everyone else, and his Alpha genes helped him to come close to the top.

As his wolf started stirring, he learned to subdue his aura and not disclose that he is an Alpha. He showed just enough for everyone to know that he was strong, but not too strong because he didn't want Alpha Damon to see him as a threat.

It was late in the afternoon when a knock on the door got Ariel's attention.

"Come in" Ariel said and the door creaked open. A blonde lady majestically walked in, she looked to be familiar but she just couldn't place her head on where they had met.

"Hello"the blonde uknown lady said with a smile which seemed a little too creepy for Ariel. She waited patiently waited for the girl to speak as she didn't want to be the one to speak first.

"Incase you don't remember me, I'm Hailey, the gamma's daughter. We met yesterday at the party" the girl intoduced herself. Ariel met a lot of people at the party that she couldn't even pinpoint meeting the girl named Hailey. From the look of things Hailey looked to be of her age and she wouldn't mind a new company to keep her from being bored.

"The Luna wanted me to ask if you need anything"

"No I don't, but you can come in, if you are less busy". Ariel replied and offered her a polite smile which was the best her messy mind could come up with.

"Sure". Hailey said cheerfully and slumped on the bed beside Ariel. Ariel was a great judge of character and from the look of things, Hailey was someone who was free spirited and they could be tight friends in the future. Hopefully she wouldn't be a bore in her life. At this point, she needed only someone who could lighten up her mood and take her mind from the thought of her mate.

Ariel and her new found aquitances sat on the bed discussing random topics. Though her company did lighten up Ariel's mood but the thought of her mate was still lingering at the back of her mind.

"Do you know who you're going to be meeting tomorrow?". Hailey asked a question which peeked Ariel's interests.

"N-No"

"You are going to be meeting with Alpha Xander" Hailey said , her eyes shunning sparkles dreamily.

"Who's that??, I have never heard of him."

"What!!!!. How come you haven't heard of him. He's like the most handsome Werewolf that had ever walk this Earth"

"Quit being dramatic, how can an old man make your eyes sparkle that way". She rolled her eyes and wondered why Hailey was being so dramatic about some old Alpha.

"Old??, See sweetheart he's like the....

Ariel gave a look to Hailey, she didn't know why she suddenly just paused. She flicked her hands in front of the girl who just happened to space out.

"Back to earth Hailey"

"Sorry, it was the mind link. They was an attack of rogues and they're some casualties of warriors that needed to be attended to". She let out a nervous laugh

"I need to go, will meet you up tomorrow right??"

Hailey had studied medicine and she worked part time in the packs hospital to gain experience. As the gamma's daughter she only worked when they were in need of extra helping hands.

"Can I come with you.. please". She requested. She didn't know why but she was damn worried when she heard the warriors were injured. Her mind had drifted to her mate whom she had rubuffed, though she had rejected him, they was still some remnants of the mate pull. She needed to ensure that he was fine. She knew all this thought was foolish for someone whom she left dejected after just meeting but the heart does what it wants.

"You don't have to plead, after all this is your pack "

"Thanks, can we go now".

They both arrived at the hospital in less than twenty minutes. The hospital was located close to the edge of the packs border.

Ariel's eyes rummage through all the corners of the hospital in search of the one person that brought her here.

"Doctor Hailey". Someone called from behind them, a familiar eloquent voice which had stick to Ariel's brain. Both the ladies turned towards the direction of the voice

"Commander Zeres" . Hailey greeted with a polite smile, Ariel breathed a sigh of relief to see him fine, and did they just refer to her mate as Commander Zeres.

Ariel couldn't snap out of her daze that was muddled by the excitement of her wolf. Ariel didn't feel her wolf in some time, yet now she was coming back.

"Commander Zeres, this is the Alpha's daughter, Ariel. I am sure you would have had about her arrival." Hailey introduced the man who Ariel couldn't stop gaping at.

"Zeres is undefeated among commanders, he is one of the Alpha most trusted person"

Ariel nodded absent mindedly, she had thought that he was just some mere warrior, never did it cross her mind that he was a commander, an undefeated one at that. She couldn't just take her eyes off him, he was the real definition of a Greek god with amazing scent which she wouldn't mind taking a bite from.

Zeres barely spared her a glance as he focused all his attention on Hailey who kept talking non-stop on things she barely heard.

Finding out that people might mistake her actions of not greeting him as being rude, she outstretched her hand, plastering a smile on her face.

"I am Ariel. It's a pleasure meeting you,commander"

Zeres stared at Ariel's outstretched hand for a while before returning the gesture.

You can call me Zeres, after all you are the future Alpha, milady.", he said, and his eyes flashed with something unfathomable when their hands connected. His lips lifted into a half-smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Trust me, the pleasure is mine."

The handshake lasted only for a second, but Ariel clearly felt the sparks. How was that possible? Didn't she reject him?

She had numerous questions which she couldn't spew in front of Hailey and the other soldiers watching. Will Zeres even agree to answer any of her questions.

Zeres, the name alone brought a bright smile on her face. His name was befitting for someone as beautiful as him.

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Savior

His face was his usual neutral, controlled mask as he took her in, his eyes lingering for a split second on her shaking hands before coming back to hers. God, she couldn’t do this. This intense eye contact game they played. She just couldn’t do it right now, not with the way she was barely keeping down the scream that had been building in her throat. It wasn’t a scream of fear, or devastation, or desperation. Not even frustration, truly. It was trapped somewhere between them all, bouncing from one to the other while they laughed in her face— she'd been kidnapped and he was here to save her. Zeres was the last person she was expecting but somehow she knew he'd come. And that feeling of knowing he'd come for her— she didn't like it. “Did they hurt you?” The question, in that low, rough tone, caught her off guard. He was angry. Naturally, his face had this controlled and neutral expression but right now there was an edge to it, a murderous glint. And maybe she was hyperventilating

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Hot piece of magma

ONE OF THE WORST THINGS ABOUT HAVING A ROUND-THE-CLOCK bodyguard was having them in one's space everytime of the day. Well, it wouldn't be that bad if it was anyone else other than Zeres. Suddenly, he was everywhere within Ariel's space, and it turned out that breathing air was quite taxing when one's mate was close by. A new discovery she had to make was: who knew such a side effect existed, or maybe it was guilt? Now, everywhere she moved, Zeres was right behind her. From spa day to shopping and even the littlest trip in the forest, it all felt strangely domestic in a way it hadn’t felt before with anyone, but today was different. She hadn't seen him throughout breakfast, and it was almost mid-afternoon. It was quite unlike him. Though they hardly said a word to each other after the club incident, he was always almost there. 'Maybe he got fed up with your incensants and thought it wise to leave your cowardly ass alone.' A thought had popped into her head, but she'd shoved it back

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Mr. Volkov

“N-nothing.” The asshole said finally catching up with the mess he had landed. That took a while, Zeres had to admit but what was he expecting from a twerp— no— brained asshole anyways. The boys face had reddened with panic just from the little hold of Zeres. Zeres was sure the boy would have peed his pants if he carried out his wolf’s threat..“I don’t think it was nothing.” Zeres uttered tightening his hold on him, and the boy whimpered in pain. “You used a very derogatory word on my lady here, don't you think you need to apologize?.” Another tightening, another whimper. “Or would you prefer we do it my style, hmm?” Zeres didn’t need to spell out what his style was. “I’m sorry,” The boy mumbled begrudgingly to Ariel, who passed a stony look back to him She didn’t respond.“I didn’t hear you, say it like you mean it.” Zeres uttered adding a smile that made him look more unhinged. The smile contained more threat than humour. The boy’s eyes flashed with unmistakable hate, but he wasn’t

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Trouble

Zeres had known. He'd known she would be trouble the minute he'd set his eyes on her and when Alpha Damon had asked for a guard to keep an eye on his daughter and he had opted to do it himself, he knew he was f”cked. Well he wasn't exactly asked, but told, because Alpha Damon dealt in orders, not requests. But Zeres could have easily given the assignment to one of the lesser guards but he had wanted to.Him guarding the daughter of his enemy and the mate who rejected him, when all he wanted was to do was forget she ever existed? Worst idea in the history of bad ideas but he didn't have time for regrets. Then, he’d looked at her beside Alpha Xander and he saw something in her eyes that tugged at him unfortunately. Maybe it was the hint of loneliness or the vulnerability she tried to hide.Whatever it was, it was enough for him to say yes, albeit having vengeance in his mind— what better way to get revenge than punishing her with his proximity. Crazy, how she'd thought rejecting him wa

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Bass pounding 1

Just when Ariel was about to open the car door, she realized her hands had brushed against something, Zeres had also made the same attempt and while doing so their hands brushed against each other for a brief moment. There was a sudden surge of electricity within her over the brief contact. She wondered if it was him or static. She retracted her hands back and quickly said."You don't have to open the car door for me, I'm not incapable of doing so myself."Zeres didn't comment, he just blatantly ignored her and she knew it was intentional. "Rude." She muttered underneath her breath and rolled her eyes. For some unknown reason he was undeniably quiet than usual, he couldn't compliment her. Hailey had putting enough efforts in dressing her up for the goddamned club or whatever. Why was she even expecting a compliment from him? She definitely was dumb. The driver rev the car engine ready to start, when Zeres stepped into the car beside her."Wait! Wait! What are you doing?" She shrieked.

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Guest in the dark

"I would excuse you ladies to do your business. Just contact me through the mind link if you need anything, Milady." Said Zeres. "You know you are a weird one right? So now you believe they should be given privacy." Midnight tsked, he couldn't fully understand how the mind of this specie worked. Zeres only rolled his eyes at his supposed wolf and bowed at the two nobles before exiting the room. Midnight wasn't satisfied with Zeres nonchalant attitude towards him."So you are just going to keep ignoring me! I wonder how I ended up with you of all people anyways. The moon goddess tends to be unfair sometimes." He uttered soberly, he was trying to play the sympathy card even though he had known fully well that it won't struck a chord in this nuthead werewolf. "Yes, she's quite unfair for making you a wolf rather than a bird. You are better off as a noise maker, Nightmare." Zeres dull voice responded, his shoes clicking softly on the floor as he walked through the hallway. "For the one

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Crafty Commander

Chapter 12"I'd scream if you don't stop right now!!" Ariel threatened cheekily. "Don't kill me." She added in a low and shaky voice the more he progressed closer to her. He leaned towards her with an almost deliberate slowness were she could feel his masculine scents wafts into her nose causing her heart to thud noisily in her chest and a slight blush appeared on her face. 'What was wrong with her? Some dough mate was trying to strangle her and all her heart could do was act noisily?' What she didn't even understand was why she kept even calling him mate and why her heart always reacted strangely when he was close by when she had already rejected him though he didn't accept it but at least they should be something different and not some increasing mate pull. Zeres gruff voice spoked more like whispered closed to her ears. "I just wanted to return the pillow you threw, what were you thinking I wanted to do?" He threw a questioning glance at her while tossing the pillow on the other

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Scrawny Flimsy Zeres

Chapter 11The Alpha cleared his throat, dropping his cutlery gently he said. "Ariel, lest I forget Zeres here would be accompanying you wherever you want to go." What?" She shrieked abruptly not believing her ears, what did he mean by everywhere I want to go? "You mean like a body guard?" Her father raised an eyebrow's wondering why Ariel was overreacting more than usual."I don't know why I need a bodyguard, Alpha." She stated, this time a bit cautious not to arose suspicion from her attitude. "Besides, I barely go out, so what's the need of having him guard me.""After what happened with you and the rogues, I don't think it's right for you to even walk in the pack's ground without protection." Her father explained and she turned to her mother to help her out of this but her mother also passed out a helpless nod at her. When it comes to her father, everybody's hands were tied so as not to anger him or face his wrath or whatever. But this... This was even worst than she had imagin

  • MATED TO THE LOST PACK ALPHA   Bodyguard

Chapter 10 "It's so bright." Ariel mumbled with tired eyes that was getting affected by an unknown source of light. "Shit! What the hell?" She groaned, not liking the intrusion caused by the brightnessShe lazily fluttered her eyes open to be welcomed by a familiar surrounding being illuminated by the bright sun coming from the window.'Window?? Wasn't she supposed to be in the dark alley standing?'Wait a minute!!, How did she get here back in her room in the first place? Last thing she could remember was hearing the voice of Zeres telling her not to fret or was she hallucinating and nothing bizzare happened last night. She was darn sure she was standing with Zeres but she couldn't remember anything after then.'Am I dreaming?' It was the same view of her room that she had been waking up to since she arrived at blue moon Pack and to sum it all, the time had changed and it was no longer midnight.Just then there was a knock on the door breaking her from her thoughts, and the door op
