Chapter 16: CHASE

Jefferson, who has transformed back to his human form, looked at the unconscious DeLorna. Right now he was feeling very agitated.

She had used his life to save him. Though it wasn't necessary it had meant a lot to him. He had never expected his mate to use her life for him. He could tell the love she had for him was deep.

He couldn't help but caress her face gently as she smiled though he was naked right now he could care less about it.

Abigail who had also transformed back to human wasn't naked as she put on back her nightwear. Only God knew how she was able to retain it. Though the nightwear was in the form of robes.

"Jeff, let's go back to the pack and I'm sure she'll be alright. The wolf bane in her system won't have any effect, don't forget she's just a human so we have to go back to the pack quickly to avoid the situation becoming complicated," Abigail said walking closer to Jefferson.
