Chapter 25: THE FIGHT

Jefferson, who had left the meeting after DeLorna's mind linked him, was burning with fury.

After leaving with a word he sped out of the place running with all his might. He wished his sister wasn't so useless at the time of his needs. Well, he couldn't blame her; that was the life she had decided to live. He only wished that she could come back to her senses and be more responsible.

He didn't look back as he ran to the pack. He wished he could tear the wolf attacking his pack to pieces.

He thought of his mate who had fainted. He was sure the pack members would have gone to the safe house. But what about his mate, how would she go there when she didn't know the place?

From the situation, he saw when she mind-linked him. She was looking fragile and seemed like she'd faint at any time.
