It Can't Happen

Lilyana frowned at Ed Shane's statement. The woman really couldn't stop thinking about her own husband. She didn't know what was in the man's mind.

"Then you better divorce me, Ed!" said Lilyana loudly.

"No." Ed Shane shook his head. "I can't do that, I still really love you, Lily. I don't want to be without you."

"Then leave her, Ed!"

But again Ed Shane shook his head. "No Lily. I can't leave her either."

Hearing this Lilyana could only sigh harshly. "You're greedy, you're selfish, Ed!"

Not wanting to linger with her husband, Lilyana left the room.

"Lily, Lily, wait for me. I haven't finished talking everything," said Ed Shane, who was trying to hold her back.

Instead of stopping her steps and turning around, Lilyana actually accelerated her steps even more. She wanted to get away from the man who had betrayed her.

"Why, why did you do that? Now you're chasing me instead." Lilyana said softly as she turned her head.
