Lilyana's Anger

"Edward must be happy up there with God, Lily." Gladwin said, trying to reassure her daughter.

Lilyana nodded her head. In a situation like this, at least Ed Shane can be more understanding in his attitude. So far, Ed Shane has been silent, lamenting the loss of his first child, he didn't even say a word to make Lilyana feel a little calmer.

The woman had indeed received many words from her father. Even when she was being taken to the hospital, her father always accompanied and strengthened her. I don't know where Ed Shane--her husband is.

That's what makes Lilyana feel annoyed with her husband. The man who used to be understanding and caring is now much different, looks very different when her pregnancy reaches the age of five months.

Now that Lilyana is unable to sustain her pregnancy, Ed Shane seems sad. Whether it's real from the bottom of his heart or just pretend to look sorry.

Lilyana is really disgusted by her husband's behavior. It felt like all this annoyance and anger she wanted to take out immediately by scolding her husband all out. But Lilyanan kept trying to be patient and hold back her anger.

"Let's go home, Lily." Gladwin said, in a voice so gentle.

Gladwin's hands were on Lilyana's arms. Even Gladwin helped Lilyana to her feet, not Ed Shane!

A small tomb with the body of a handsome baby boy named Edward Shane, Lilyana really didn't want to leave this area.

A baby that Lilyana had wanted for a long time now had to leave the world first. Lilyana cried again, the woman felt so sad.

"I'm sorry mom, Kid." Lilyana said, her voice trembling.

"It's not your fault. God loves Edward more." Gladwin said, still trying to calm his daughter.

Gladwin's hands were still on Lilyana's arms. The man embraced his daughter's body, leading her to walk and return to the house.

"Lily wasn't a good Mom for Edward, Dad," said Lilyana while crying.

"In fact, you are very kind to him, Lily. He will be fine there, he will be happy. Don't make Edward sad with you who keep crying, Lily." Gladwin explained.

Lilyana rubbed her wet eyes. With weak steps and so slow she walked with Gladwin. While Ed Shane followed behind.

It was such a hard day for Lilyana to go through, she lost her first child today. All day she used to lament grief and kept crying.

"Lily, come on, baby. Don't be sad," said Ed Shane, the man intends to comfort his wife.

"Did you say don't be sad?! How can I not be sad, Ed?! I lost my first child! Only weird parents don't grieve the loss of their first child!" said Lilyana, responding to her husband's words by snapping in annoyance.

"Couldn't you talk a bit quieter with your husband?!" said Ed Shane, the man's tone was no less snapped at Lilyana.

Hearing this, Lilyana fell silent. The woman was reluctant to talk to her husband. Since the fifth month of pregnancy, her husband suddenly changed his attitude.

Ed Shane, who was once known by Lilyana as a kind, patient, understanding and caring man, is now very different. Ed Shane became a hot-tempered man. Lilyana also no longer gets Ed Shane's attention like she used to.

"Why are you silent?!" Ed Shane is still talking.

Hearing her husband's question, Lilyana shook her head. She exhaled slowly and heavily.

"Tell me if something is bothering your heart and mind, Honey. If you keep silent, I don't know how I should act," explained Ed Shane.

"You should know what to do, Ed!" Lilyana said firmly.

"I have absolutely no idea, Lily!" said Ed Shane, the male voice rising again.

"Entertain me, give me more attention, accompany me, and the most important thing is to speak well, no need to shout and get angry like this!" Lilyana explained every thing Ed Shane had to do.

The woman said in a loud and harsh tone. She could no longer stand her husband's behavior, which was getting different every day.

"You don't know I'm sad too, Lily!" said Ed Shane, still not lowering his voice.

"Sad for what?! You're sad not for Edward!" shouted Lilyana, the woman was getting emotional.

"Keep your mouth shut, Lilyana. Of course I'm sad because of Edward! Because you couldn't take care of your pregnancy, he had to die before birth!!!"

Edward's words deeply pierced Lilyana's heart. It wasn't the woman's fault, it was Ed Shane's fault.

If only Ed Shane doesn't act weird and doesn't change his attitude, surely Lilyana won't be stressed thinking about her husband's change in attitude. When it was like this, Ed Shane blamed Lilyana? Can't he reflect on what's wrong in himself?

"Ed Shane! It's not my fault, it's your fault!!!" Lilyana snapped no less, the woman even pointed at her husband's face.

"Dare you blame me, Lily?!"

"It's really your fault, Ed!" This time Lily really snapped in a loud voice.

Lilyana's voice could be heard by Gladwin who was watching television at a slightly louder volume. Hearing his daughter seem to be arguing with someone, Gladwin turned off the television.

The steps of the two men's feet walked as fast as he could towards his daughter's room. From outside the room, the voices of Lilyana and Ed Shane who were arguing were getting clearer.

"Lilyana ... Ed ... what's going on inside?!" asked Gladwin, the man was very worried about his daughter.

"Lily, Ed, open the door!" said Gladwin back from outside the room.

The door to Ed Shane and Lilyana's room was locked from the inside. Gladwin couldn't open and break up their argument, he couldn't enter the room with the door locked from the inside.

Worry made Gladwin Hamilton keep knocking on Ed Shane and Lilyana's door. He didn't stop for a bit, he also kept calling out the names of his daughter and son-in-law.

"Watch your words, Lily! This is completely your fault!!!"

"If only you didn't change your attitude, I wouldn't be like this, Ed! It's your fault!!!"

"Change my attitude, Lily?! What's changed about me?! I still love you, Baby," said Ed Shane, the man was confused by his wife's way of thinking.

"Lies! All your words are lies and just words, I know that, Ed! You still haven't realized your mistake? Do I need to say one by one?!"

Ed Shane fell silent. Lilyana was right. Ed was already aware of the change in his attitude towards Lilyana, he was just trying to avoid it and did not want to be blamed for the death of Edward Shane--his first child.

Ed Shane's footsteps quickly headed for the door, he opened it roughly and walked quickly out of the room. Even when he ran into Gladwin, Ed Shane pretended not to see him.
