Nothing Is Wrong

Lilyana shook her head, she also slightly pursed the corners of her lips. "There's nothing wrong with me, Chris."

Without saying anything else, Lilyana walked away leaving Chris who was still washing his hands alone.

The man turned towards Lilyana leaving him. He saw the back of the woman who was now walking away.

"I believe something has happened to you, Lily."

Fifteen minutes passed and they had all finished breakfast. Chris waited in the doorway of the room while Lilyana seemed to be talking to her father.

"I'm leaving now, Dad. Take care of yourself, you don't have any meetings with your friends, do you?"

Gladwin shook his head with a smile. "For now there is none."

"Good, then I'll go first, Dad."

Still with a smile on his face, he took his daughter to the front porch of the house.

"You go first alone, Chris." Lilyana said with a straight face.

Of course the sentence from the woman suddenly made Chris frown. "Wh-what do you mean?"

"Babe, are you ready?"
