Chapter 15: MOTHER-IN-LAW!!!

After a while I heard some footsteps coming close to our bed, it was Anu's mother. "What is she doing here at this hour? What does she want?" I asked myself. Since she wasn't able to read my mind anymore, she came closer to me and put her hand on my head, I wondered why but it seemed she wasn't able to read it, perhaps that's why she bent over, removed my bedcovers and bit me on the shoulder. I felt pain for a little while till when she placed her hand on the wound to collect my blood before she made it heal right away and like that the scar was no more.

I tried to slowly open my eyes in a wise manner and see for myself what was going on. She later closed her eyes, whispered some strange words and a colourless glass came swinging from nowhere and appeared before her. Grabbing it she put the drops of my blood in it and drank it.

Wait! What was she doing with my blood? What was her intentions? Was that the first time she has done this to me or things always happened as I was asleep?
