CHAPTER 36

Aria

“Alpha," I turned around nervously.

"Yes, Aria, don't you believe I deserve to know the truth?" he asked, while having no idea what to answer.

"Alpha is not what you think Aria and I were talking about Beta," Thea remarked. Zion just walked away, saying nothing.

“That was bad," she said after taking a deep breath.

"Now you know what to avoid at times," I said before walking into the dining room.

Everyone glanced up as the maids collected their empty dishes, while mine remained untouched.

“Are you skipping food for him too?" Alpha Zion asked.

“No, I…I—"

"Please take a seat and enjoy your food, but remember that this will not happen next time," he interrupted, and I hurriedly took a seat.

"I am still dying from taking in his aroma, Aria; why are you not doing anything?" White asked, but I chose not to reply.

"Aria!" she said as I coughed, and the Alpha ran to get me water, while Beta Bruno placed his hand on my back.
