Aria

"Daughter of Fire, what do you want?" Catherine asked.

"Why would you allow them to take me away like that?" I responded.

"So you can meet some of your people," Catherine explained.

"Seriously, I do not understand who I am anymore, and why do I occasionally lose control of my abilities?" I asked.

"Because they are at their peak, but you will conquer them all eventually."

“What can I do to break the bond between the Alpha and me?"

“Without his knowledge?"

“Yes," I nodded.

"Call for death to come get you," Catherine said.

“What? I don't want to die I just don't want anything to—"

"These are things beyond us, Aria; you must make the bond before time runs out and your dark history knows your identity," she said, pulling her gaze away.

"Bond?” I was surprised to hear her mention the same thing my mother had told me in the dream.

"Yes you are the—”

The earth under us began to tremble, and little chunks of rock from the cave dropped to one side.
