CHAPTER 47

Aria

“Aria!" I heard a voice call out to me.

I disregarded it at first, believing I was dreaming, but when I sat up straight, I recognized what was occurring.

I could tell it was dawn by the sound of sirens and automobiles going by the packhouse.

I went outside and headed to the area where the sound was coming from. Fear was something I could not feel since I had been through the darkest of times, unaware that the worst was still to come.

“Aria here," the voice said.

There was a gravestone in front of me with several types of lettering. Every time I got near it, the word lit up and I could see everything perfectly.

"What does it say?" the voice asked as I was stunned by what I was reading.

'Moonfire' was scrawled all over the gravestone from all sides.

“What are you seeing, Aria?" the voice asked, this time in a dark tone.

“Nothing, I can't see anything," I replied.

My gaze focused on a writing that said, 'Save the moonfire.'
