I was feeling better from the torture of Exryx. He made sure I regretted ever being alive and not even being an Alpha would save me from this monster.

I got out of bed and dressed up to head downstairs as we were going to have the priest coming over.

I made my way to the dining room and Exryx was still laughing at the back of my head. I just needed to act normal. I took a seat at the table as everyone was smiling at me.

“Alpha, we're so happy to see you," one of the council elders said.

“He's feeling the same," my Mom responded on my behalf while I just nodded my head.

The maids announced the arrival of the priest and we all went to welcome him at the door. Everyone received their blessings before we walked him to the living room.

He took a seat and glued his eyes on me. I just wondered what could be the matter again? I have already been through hell.
