It was the day of the School Party.

A smell of anticipation lingered in the air. Lucas was in attendance, and so was his wife Genevieve who sat beside him. Maya did not sit with them, she sat at a corner of the hall alongside her classmates.

The hall was adorned with colourful decorations, twinkling lights ,a stage which set up at the centre of the hall and music which reverberated from the speakers from strategic sides of the hall.
