The soft light from the hospital window seeped through the thin curtain, slowly illuminating the room. On the white bed, Reno was still lying weakly. His body was covered with tubes and bandages, yet the steady beeping of the monitor beside him showed that he was still fighting.

The nurse, who was in the middle of changing the IV bottle, suddenly froze. Her eyes widened when she saw Reno’s eyelids tremble slightly. Her hands reflexively stopped moving, focusing on the face of the patient who had remained unconscious all this time.

“Oh God…” she whispered softly.

Quickly, she leaned closer. “Young Master? Can you hear me?” she asked carefully.
