“You have medical insurance for your car, right?” Dad asks hopefully.
I exhale sharply and then I shake my head.
I wouldn't be staring at this shitty paper in my hands so blankly, and the asshole wouldn't have paid the upfront since medical insurance covers everything.
Okay, maybe not everything in such an expensive hospital but it would have covered at least half of the bill.
