Chapter Eighteen

"What are we doing here Andrei?". Anna asked as they kept walking into the forest. "Are you planning to kill me here?".

Andrei chuckled shaking his head. "Very funny Anna."

"I'm scared." Anna said and gripped his arm with her other hand. "Are we almost there?".

"Almost." He said.

Half an hour later Anna saw a very bright light in the distance like sunlight shining on the green grass ahead making her breath catch. It was a very beautiful place she didn't know existed in Mercia. She figured that nobody even knew it existed.

"Where's this place Andrei?". She breathed.

"This is... king's meadow." Andrei said with a smile. "My grandfather grew the trees and grass in memory of my grandma."

"Wow! it's beautiful!". She said in awe. "I never knew this place existed in Mercia."

"Oh it's not open to the public".
