Ria slowly opened the door, her heart trembling violently in her chest.Standing outside was Mira,At least… she looked like Mira.She wore clothing similar to Ria’s silver outfit but something about her felt strangely different. Her expression lacked warmth, and her eyes carried a distant emptiness Ria had never seen before.

Without saying a word, Mira stepped inside carrying a bowl of steaming water. She placed it carefully on the table and immediately turned to leave.

“Mira!”

Ria rushed toward her and grabbed her wrist firmly her breathing became uneven.

“Mira… you just called yourself Mira. How is that possible?”

Her voice shook with disbelief.

“You… you really don’t remember me?”

Mira stiffened but didn’t turn immediately. Several seconds passed before she slowly faced her.

“I’m sorry,” she said quietly. “You seem strange too, Luna Charlotte.”

Ria’s heart dropped.

“What?”

“You don’t remember me either?” Mira asked softly.

For a brief second, her eyes glowed faintly.

Ria froze.

“I only came to bring hot water for your bath,” Mira continued calmly. “Earlier, I tried to enter and collect the bucket, but the door was locked.”

“Mira…” Ria whispered shakily “Something isn’t right. I—”

“Mira!”

Another voice suddenly echoed from outside.

Mira flinched instantly and Without another word, she hurried out of the room and almost immediately, Alpha Klein stepped inside.

His gaze locked onto Ria cold  and Sharp.

He walked slowly toward her until he stood directly in front of her. His fingers brushed lightly against her wrist, but the warmth lingered far longer than it should have.

Ria’s breath caught,Her heartbeat pounded violently.Suddenly Klein shoved her against the wall as his body trapped hers instantly.

Hot breaths fanned across her face as his eyes darkened dangerously.

Then, just as quickly, disgust flickered across his expression.

He released her roughly.

“Why do you smell different, Charlotte?” he asked coldly. “Have you started sneaking around with that mysterious lover of yours again?”

Something inside Ria snapped as She glared at him fiercely.

“If cruelty had a face,” she spat, “it would probably look exactly like yours.”

Klein’s eyes darkened immediately as he grabbed her wrist painfully tight.

Ria winced silently as pain shot through her arm.

“Alpha Klein.”

A voice interrupted from behind them.

Klein groaned in frustration and turned sharply.

“Alpha Moon has returned,” Mira announced nervously. “He’s asking to see you.”

Klein’s expression shifted instantly as he glanced back at Ria one last time before releasing her,his breathing remained uneven.

“Do not leave this room,” he warned dangerously. “I don’t want my guest seeing you like this, Charlotte.”

He paused briefly near the door.

“And tonight… I have something planned for you.”The strange tone in his voice made Ria uneasy and without another word he left as Silence filled the room again.few seconds later Mira slowly stepped back into view, preparing to leave once more.

“Mira,” Ria called quickly.

Mira stopped walking but didn’t turn around.

Ria swallowed hard.“You really don’t remember me?”

Her voice cracked softly.

“I don’t understand what’s happening. I woke up here yesterday and everything changed. Please…”

She took a shaky step closer.

“You’ve always hated seeing me hurt. You wouldn’t act like this toward me. This life… it isn’t mine.”

Her breathing became heavier.

“This place isn’t where I belong.”

Mira stood silently and then Ria noticed her hand rise slowly toward her face.She was wiping away tears,For several seconds she remained still before finally turning halfway toward her.

“Ria…” she whispered softly,The name hit like lightning and then mira expression hardened again.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with you,” she said carefully “This has always been your life. You’ve always lived here.”

Her eyes lowered briefly.

“I think the fall damaged your memory.”

Before Ria could stop her, Mira hurried away.

Ria remained frozen.

“The fall?” she whispered slowly,her mind raced violently.
