FOUND TO BE DEAD.

KAI'S POV.

Days after Hazel's departure...

My eyes were on Vera who was lying beside me, she was asleep while I thought.

"When is she coming back? It's been a few days already. Don't tell me that she was not planning on returning. Who will I vent my anger on anytime I'm mad? Who will take my shit? How will Vera be comfortable here without her?"

I snorted, "She was supposed to be Vera's maid now and be my slave. She was supposed to become a wreck now that she found out about Vera and me, but I foolishly allowed her to leave. How stupid is that?" My thought was messed up by Hazel's departure.

She left as bargained but had not returned as I thought, and a few days had passed.

What was holding her back?

I couldn't sleep a wink, I was filled with regret. Great regret.

I was almost tempted to leave the pack house to search for her.

Kyle, my wolf, was not making it any better. He had been strangely silent since Hazel left. I didn't care about him, though. he was just sharing my body with me; we were two different things, and he was to bow to me.

Someone began to tug at my mind link. "What?!" I snapped at the person in my head.

"It's time."

I blocked off the voice after those words.

The words were simple, but I understood them.

I got out of bed, but Vera chose that moment to wake up. "My alpha, you promised to spend the whole day with me, why are you getting off the bed now?" Vera whined and I chuckled before lying back on the bed.

"Yeah, I promised, but the elders are calling to me, one of them had been pulling through my mind linking, and it is beginning to feel crazy. I have to see them," I told her.

She was not having it, she rolled over to me and rested her head on my chest, "I don't want you to go, I want you to stay here with me."

She began with her fingers directly on my chest. Her motive was conspicuous, she wanted me.

"I would have loved to stay, but I can't, they might barge in here soon and they won't be feeling so cool to see you here," I told her.

She became glum, "You are not ready to show me to the elders, are you? You're ashamed of me."

My face crimped.

I saw no sense in what she was talking about, I almost let out a scoff, but controlled my will, I was not ready for unnecessarily long talks.

"How about I get the guards to get Hazel later? They would force her back here and every time I'm not around, you will use her as you like til I return. This place is suddenly becoming so boring without the omega and I know you will love her here."

That brought a smile to her pretty face.

She pulled me into a happy hug, "Thank you, you're so considerate."

I nodded and disengaged from the hug, "Be expecting her back here before evening, I bet she has nowhere to stay, and returning here will be a great choice for her, everyone will gain again. You will get to treat her the way you want, while she has a place to lay her head."

"Won't you mind? Even if she has to stay in the cold room?"

"Even in the cold room." I chuckled, already loving the idea of having Hazel locked in the cold room, the sound of her shivering, and the coldness I would feel from her heart was pleasing.

That would serve as a minor punishment to her, for thinking of a divorce proposal. I made the rules here, not the other way round.

"You should get her before she goes far," Vera spoke smartly.

"Sure."

I got out of bed and dressed up after bathing.

I was anxious to bring back Hazel, and as much as I would love to bring her back myself, I couldn't. I had to see the elders immediately.

I got out of the room and faced two of my guards, "Find Hazel and bring her to me in the next hour."

"Yes, alpha." They both left immediately to carry out the assignment.

I adjusted my black shirt and put a smile on my face, 'You made a grave mistake, Hazel, and I will teach you well that next time, you will be too sorry to make the same mistake.' I chuckled darkly and headed towards the throne room.

I got in and the elders rose to their feet to welcome me. I was not ready for any of their greetings. I just went straight to my throne and sat down, as I also cleared out my mind in case the guards wanted to send a message to me about Hazel's whereabouts.

"The rogues are threatening to break down the border, alpha." One of the elders spoke.

I held my jaw and sighed, "How long do we have?"

"Close to nothing."

Now, the rogues were another thing threatening my rules, and they were not ready to back down.

They killed my parents, and that made me hate Hazel even more. Her face reminded me of the rogues, and she was to pay for their atrocities, to redeem herself.

"What do you think, my elders?" I questioned them subconsciously.

They began to lay out their thoughts, which I was partially listening to. My mind was divided, my rule was threatened and I badly needed to calm down, and Hazel would be the perfect person for the calming down.

"Alpha!" One of the guards ran into my mind link, "We lost her scent."

I got out of my seat immediately, "Let's meet later." I said to the elders hurriedly.

I left the throne room before I could be stopped.

I shifted and dashed into the woods, trailing my guards. I located them and they were in the middle of nowhere and truthfully, that was where Hazel's scent stopped.

"What happened?"

"I think she was attacked and murdered, maybe by some wild animals." I was shown some pieces of flesh and blood on the floor. I picked some up and sniffed it.

It was hers, it had her scent on it. W...What the...?

"Find her remains around."

"But alpha..."

"NOW!"

LETTING HIM GO.HAZEL'S POV.When I returned to the pack house, I was so tired and all I wanted was my bed without any stress. I entered the chamber with such a big strength and was heading to my room, but I changed my mind.'I should check on my kids.'I went to my children's room and met them fully awake; they were expecting me with the eagerness they had when they saw me."Mama." They rushed to hug me, "We missed you throughout the day."That hit a nerve in me. I didn't see them throughout the day, and that hadn't happened before. I was always with them almost every time during the day."I missed you too.""Where did you go?" I asked them when we disengaged from the hug."Uncle Scott took us all around the pack and Mama, have you seen how beautiful the pack is? It's more natural than Godfather's pack, even Uncle Scott noticed that," They told me."Sh!" I hushed them, "Your godfather won't love to hear that."I had to go and check the door to see if Soren was not in earshot or aroun

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   OUTING WITH VERA.

OUTING WITH VERA.HAZEL'S POV.The judgment given was fair to me. I was expecting something more deadly, death by slow poison or something of the sort, and for crimes they kept on committing, they deserved it. They were given the chance to choose the type of death they desired, which was the fair part.I walked out of the throne room after the rogues were being led out of the throne room. I returned to my chamber to check if my children had returned with Scott, but they hadn't returned even as the day was going down.I knew that Soren was not ready for any form of word exchange or conversation with me, so I didn't bother to go to him for anything.I decided to spend the remaining hours of the day alone and the place I chose was the pack's main garden. I wanted to go alone but I didn't want to go without a snack that would keep the boredom away from me.I headed to the kitchen and there, I took two freshly baked sandwiches and a bottle of soda. I was now looking like one wanting to go

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   THE JUDGMENT.

THE JUDGMENT.KAI'S POV.I knew what the rogues were trying to do. They were trying to confuse us and for us to begin to guess over unnecessary things, but it turned out they didn't know me at all.I left them to do whatever they were doing. I watched silently."This is not fair, you seized the wrong person." One said, facing me."I'm snitching myself out right now that it's I. I'm the real face behind everything.""But it's I." And their mode of confusion went on and on.Soon, the room became a ruckus, like a place without deep human coordination, where people could shout and negotiate without a crime being recorded.Ever since I was a kid, I had always seen werewolves coming together as a group to do whatever they intended, but I had never seen a group without coordination.Werewolves are always well organized until maybe like now when a sense of favouritism set in, and I understood exactly what they meant and wanted. They wanted to release their leader. They were ready to shoulder

I planned to pass them by and mind my business but they called me back.I turned to them, trying to reciprocate the great respect they showed to me, "Yes?" I questioned them."Scott took the pups out of the pack house. He knew you would search for them, so he told us to relay the message to you so that you won't bother to search, Luna." They ended their words."I almost begin the search but don't worry, I'm good now after knowing that they are safely with Scott."Even if my children were anywhere, I was sure that they would be fine. A VISIT TO EDWIN.KAI'S POV.I woke up with all my pains relieved and my arm that was stabbed by Soren was completely healed. When I was with Hazel throughout yesterday, I was just keeping the pains away from her and was growling inside, trying not to show my pain.I pretended to be okay. But today when I woke up, I was perfectly fine.I got out of bed and felt someone trying to pull into my mind to deliver a message.I gave the person a pass as I headed to the bathroom for a shower."What?" I heard Marcus' voice tell me."Beta.""Yes, my alpha.""I'll be with you in a minute or two."I blocked the mind link and concentrated on bathing and getting ready. In a few minutes, I was done and went out of the bathroom to the room.I didn't have any serious battles or serious obligations to do today other than to face my alpha's normal activities, so I dressed kingly in royal attire that was red.I went out of the room after being satis

I WISH WE HAD NEVER COME HERE.HAZEL'S POV.What my father said blew my mind, "Ah!" I growled and before Kai could stop me.I ran to the buttons on the wall and angrily pressed all the buttons with my cries, very long and deafening, and Dad's annoying laughs were rekindling my rage, and I pressed anything my fingers touched."Hazel, stop! You'll kill him!""I want him dead!""No, stop! We haven't questioned him yet!" Kai carried me away from the buttons even as I kept on trying to break free from him."Kai, let me go, I need to show that man that he's not the only one who could kill!""Hazel!" He shouted out, "Your father is a murderer, not you, you're not a murderer, you're a sweet woman and you can't hurt a fly!""No, you're wrong."
