FOUND TO BE DEAD.

KAI'S POV.

Days after Hazel's departure...

My eyes were on Vera who was lying beside me, she was asleep while I thought.

"When is she coming back? It's been a few days already. Don't tell me that she was not planning on returning. Who will I vent my anger on anytime I'm mad? Who will take my shit? How will Vera be comfortable here without her?"

I snorted, "She was supposed to be Vera's maid now and be my slave. She was supposed to become a wreck now that she found out about Vera and me, but I foolishly allowed her to leave. How stupid is that?" My thought was messed up by Hazel's departure.

She left as bargained but had not returned as I thought, and a few days had passed.

What was holding her back?

I couldn't sleep a wink, I was filled with regret. Great regret.

I was almost tempted to leave the pack house to search for her.

Kyle, my wolf, was not making it any better. He had been strangely silent since Hazel left. I didn't care about him, though. he was just sharing my body with me; we were two different things, and he was to bow to me.

Someone began to tug at my mind link. "What?!" I snapped at the person in my head.

"It's time."

I blocked off the voice after those words.

The words were simple, but I understood them.

I got out of bed, but Vera chose that moment to wake up. "My alpha, you promised to spend the whole day with me, why are you getting off the bed now?" Vera whined and I chuckled before lying back on the bed.

"Yeah, I promised, but the elders are calling to me, one of them had been pulling through my mind linking, and it is beginning to feel crazy. I have to see them," I told her.

She was not having it, she rolled over to me and rested her head on my chest, "I don't want you to go, I want you to stay here with me."

She began with her fingers directly on my chest. Her motive was conspicuous, she wanted me.

"I would have loved to stay, but I can't, they might barge in here soon and they won't be feeling so cool to see you here," I told her.

She became glum, "You are not ready to show me to the elders, are you? You're ashamed of me."

My face crimped.

I saw no sense in what she was talking about, I almost let out a scoff, but controlled my will, I was not ready for unnecessarily long talks.

"How about I get the guards to get Hazel later? They would force her back here and every time I'm not around, you will use her as you like til I return. This place is suddenly becoming so boring without the omega and I know you will love her here."

That brought a smile to her pretty face.

She pulled me into a happy hug, "Thank you, you're so considerate."

I nodded and disengaged from the hug, "Be expecting her back here before evening, I bet she has nowhere to stay, and returning here will be a great choice for her, everyone will gain again. You will get to treat her the way you want, while she has a place to lay her head."

"Won't you mind? Even if she has to stay in the cold room?"

"Even in the cold room." I chuckled, already loving the idea of having Hazel locked in the cold room, the sound of her shivering, and the coldness I would feel from her heart was pleasing.

That would serve as a minor punishment to her, for thinking of a divorce proposal. I made the rules here, not the other way round.

"You should get her before she goes far," Vera spoke smartly.

"Sure."

I got out of bed and dressed up after bathing.

I was anxious to bring back Hazel, and as much as I would love to bring her back myself, I couldn't. I had to see the elders immediately.

I got out of the room and faced two of my guards, "Find Hazel and bring her to me in the next hour."

"Yes, alpha." They both left immediately to carry out the assignment.

I adjusted my black shirt and put a smile on my face, 'You made a grave mistake, Hazel, and I will teach you well that next time, you will be too sorry to make the same mistake.' I chuckled darkly and headed towards the throne room.

I got in and the elders rose to their feet to welcome me. I was not ready for any of their greetings. I just went straight to my throne and sat down, as I also cleared out my mind in case the guards wanted to send a message to me about Hazel's whereabouts.

"The rogues are threatening to break down the border, alpha." One of the elders spoke.

I held my jaw and sighed, "How long do we have?"

"Close to nothing."

Now, the rogues were another thing threatening my rules, and they were not ready to back down.

They killed my parents, and that made me hate Hazel even more. Her face reminded me of the rogues, and she was to pay for their atrocities, to redeem herself.

"What do you think, my elders?" I questioned them subconsciously.

They began to lay out their thoughts, which I was partially listening to. My mind was divided, my rule was threatened and I badly needed to calm down, and Hazel would be the perfect person for the calming down.

"Alpha!" One of the guards ran into my mind link, "We lost her scent."

I got out of my seat immediately, "Let's meet later." I said to the elders hurriedly.

I left the throne room before I could be stopped.

I shifted and dashed into the woods, trailing my guards. I located them and they were in the middle of nowhere and truthfully, that was where Hazel's scent stopped.

"What happened?"

"I think she was attacked and murdered, maybe by some wild animals." I was shown some pieces of flesh and blood on the floor. I picked some up and sniffed it.

It was hers, it had her scent on it. W...What the...?

"Find her remains around."

"But alpha..."

"NOW!"

She was so tense, and her shoulders were vibrating inside her.She was more nervous than she was the first time she got married, and her grip on the wrapped stems of the flowers was tight."I will go to the hall and keep an eye until the bride is called in." One of the maidens volunteered and the others waited with Hazel. In the hall, Kai had said it to the MC that a few changes had been made in the ceremony booklet. Now, it had to be the wedding before the coronation.Everywhere was well arranged and two of the priests in the moon goddess's shrine were available in front.Silver lights were illuminating around the hall, and all the decorations were of silve

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   HAPPY WITH THE END.

HAPPY WITH THE END.AUTHOR'S POV.This was a day that had been long planned by everyone in the Pack, the day the alpha was getting married to his mate whom he had rejected and regretted a marriage with, the day the alpha was ready to reconsummate their vows, and this time, he was more than ready to put the vows into consideration. But was the other party ready?Hazel was in the room getting dressed up by three maidens. The maidens' hands moved around so fast that it showed that they knew exactly what they were doing, and this was something they had done a lot of times in the past. They were experts in making over their clients."Is Luna fully dressed? The gown is ready to be worn." One of the women who designed Hazel's dress said and with the dress in her hands."Just a little more wait." One of the maidens replied. They pulled a plate of black stones towards Hazel on her seat, and slowly, a few of the stones were arranged and glued on her face, forming a crescent moon on her cheekbon

HAPPY TO NOT HAPPY.HAZEL'S POV.It took minutes and though I did not want to let go of Soren, I had to let him go. I cupped his cheeks with my hands and looked at his face, "You look so sick.""You don't have to worry about me, I am fine. This is not the worst place on earth. I have been to worse places, and see, I am fine." He tried to sound cheerful and without a worry, but I couldn't help but worry about him.I knew he was not fine.My gaze locked in his dead ones, and with my emotions uncontrollably, I said to him. "Can you please promise me that you will be fine? I don't want to lose you."That was when some emotions began to appear in his eyes. Hurt. Pain. Sadness, and maybe a little of gladness. Seeing him showing he was in pain got me hugging him back again."I put you through all these things, I am so sorry.""You don't have to apologise, I let you down first."My tears began to drop from my eyes, and mere thinking of what I had to do so that Soren would not have to suffer a

UNHIDDEN EMOTIONS.KAI'S POV.Now, I knew I had to be very careful with Haze as she already had a wolf and she could control it, maybe not perfectly, but with the way her growl sounded, I could tell that she had a future full of strength and authority. All she needed was a little training to boost herself out. But it was also dangerous, if she was pushed too much and she forced herself to be strong, her wolf might become a rogue, and in no way was that okay. She would become like her father, and I would suffer it.Therefore as it stands, I had to do everything in my power to make sure she goes through the normal way. That included my character. I had to keep my cool.....It was the time I set aside for us to visit Soren, and tomorrow would be our wedding.I was so excited about the wedding, and even when it looked like I was the only one who was happy, I didn't mind. It was good enough that someone among everyone in the family was happy.I quickly went to Hazel's chamber to get her,

  • MY ALPHA OWES ME A REGRET.   NO RESPECT AT ALL.

NO RESPECT AT ALL.HAZEL'S POV.I didn't want to get attached like I was, not to Kai, not to my children. They all had disappointed me enough. What I thought would be impossible had been made possible by them.I thought my children could not live a day without me, therefore, I put my happiness aside for them, so that we could all live together. But I was wrong, they chose their irresponsible father over me.I had been ignoring them because I didn't know what could happen on the day after tomorrow, the day of the wedding. I was only planning things for that day, but after that day, I didn't know. So, to save myself, I had to stay away from the people who hurt me."Mama, we are sorry." My children apologised.I looked at them, "Why are you apologizing? Didn't your father tell you that you did nothing wrong?"They said nothing to my words, only guiltily looking at the floor like it was interesting.I looked up to one of the people around me and said to her, "Take the pups to the designer

WEDDING PREPARATION.AUTHOR'S POV.With just two days to prepare for the wedding of the alpha, the Pack had been busy and Hazel was the most packed out of them all.Her chamber was packed with people, so she had no space to freely move around. She was sitting down on a sofa with some people trying to pen down her desire about the type of celebration she wanted, "Luna, what colour do you fancy?" One of them asked her."Aren't we supposed to be talking about the type of wedding she wants? Maybe elaborated on one or one of a few people?" Another one of the wedding planners argued with her partner.Hazel saw that they both might want to bring out issues where there was no issue, so she quickly cut into their words. "No fighting, I'll answer both."The planners glared at each other. Both wanted to be favoured by the Luna, but Hazel here noticed nothing."First, for your question," She said to the second lady, causing her to smile, "Since the first time I got married to the alpha, it was do
