LOGINA CHANGE TO STAY STRONG.
HAZEL'S POV. It was a bright morning. My head ached, my body burned, and my heart was already in pieces. I groaned and tried to get up from the bed. Wait, did I say bed? I became alerted immediately, and rolled off, ignoring all my pains. The last thing I remembered was walking through the woods and getting attacked by some beasts and the rest was blurry. 'What happened after that? Was I saved? By who?' Somehow, I was scared, thinking that I was back in the pack house. Tears trickled down my cheeks and I cringed. I began to think of the pain I would have to endure again. All over again. I hugged my body and shook in great pain. Coldness enveloped me, and I rushed to the wall for comfort. I crouched and cried bitterly. My breathing began to rag as the door opened. I immediately took my face between my hands, thinking it would be either Kai or Vera when I knew that they might be around to punish me. I wanted to question them about what they wanted, but they beat me to it. "You're awake." The voice was so unfamiliar, yet, it was also familiar. I raised my head and stared at the stranger in front of me. He was crouching before me. I wiped my tears to see him. His green eyes pierced mine and I wondered who he was to have eyes so beautiful. I quickly stared away from him. "I went to the Dark Bridge Pack to see a friend. When I was returning, I met you already wounded in the woods, and I helped you and brought you to my home. I had no reason to help you, nor did I plan on hurting you. You can stand up, eat, and leave immediately." I was tongue-tied. 'Did he say that he helped me, saved me from dying? But why?' And the last time I checked, nobody cared about me or my whereabouts in the pack, except if he was not from the pack. I was sure that if he was, he would have known that people were kind of restricted from interacting too much with me, especially being engaged in a friendly conversation. "You shouldn't have saved me, the best thing you could ever do is to leave me there to die. You shouldn't have pitied me." Each word I spoke was accompanied by a sense of tears, and by now, I was sure that my eyes would have been turning black due to excess tears. He was astonished by my words and he made his astonishment known, "Why will you say that? Everyone deserves to live. Don't tell me that you tried to commit suicide." I couldn't reply to him, I was seriously crying, and I regretted not thinking about suicide, I should have killed myself before I was found by those wild beasts. Even the pain I went through during the attack was worse than what I would have gone through if I had wanted to commit suicide. He slowly stood up to his feet, "You're unbelievable! You intentionally wanted to die! You didn't even consider the lives in you, how stupid were you thinking?!" He was mad at me. At first, I didn't think much of what he said, I was just in tears and when I did, it was to gasp, "Do you just say lives in me? What does that mean?" He glared at me, "Now, you're pretending not to know that you're pregnant. How sweet of you?!" I got on my feet slowly, my eyes not leaving his, "What?" My voice was weak. "You have been unconscious for days and my healer came to check on you," He snapped, "You're fucking pregnant!" He stomped out of the room after his words. My world came crashing down at that moment. 'Pregnant? Like now? How? Why?' I laughed bitterly, and my hands found their way to my stomach. I could feel the little bump already. But why will I be pregnant? I only had sex with Kai a few times which I could count, but can that lead to pregnancy? The few times I was with Kia were dreadful, and I thought that the Moon goddess would be merciful enough to make the sex fruitless. I slowly fell on the floor and wailed, just when I thought that my suffering would not be any much, the pup had to come into the picture and from the stranger's words, I was sure it was more than one, he had said 'lives' instead of 'life' for singular. I balled myself up on the floor, I didn't know what to do, but I knew that I could not kill my pups, I just couldn't. Maybe the Moon goddess gave me another chance to live because of my children. The door was thrown open, the stranger returned with two maids behind him, "Get up and eat, I won't want to repeat that. If you want to die, you can easily do that when you leave my pack." His pack? Is he an alpha, too, like Kai? My teary face squeezed up in a frown immediately, realizing he was a goat. All alphas are the same, they only take from the weak people like me, and if the Moon goddess asks me to wish for something at that moment, I will wish for myself to go rogue, so that I will hunt down the alphas. Nevertheless, I stood up from the floor, now with renewed strength and hatred was beginning to feed on my broken spirit. I pulled the plate closer and slurped the food in. I was hungry and also angry. I ate with my eyes on him. When I was done eating, he spoke up, standing akimbo, "If you have nowhere to go, you can stay in this pack. There are a lot of things you can engage yourself with til your pups come out clean and strong." My eyes turned rigid, and I clenched my fists, my eyes not leaving his body. "Thanks for your generosity, but no, thank you, I would rather go rogue than stay in your pack." "No, I won't allow that." He growled. "Like you're my guidance, move away from the door!" He refused. "Let her go."NO, NOT THE END.AUTHOR'S POV.The party had kicked off and everything was going as planned. Hazel, with the maidens with her, had stood by the hall in a car, waiting for the right moment to enter the hall with her bouquet of jasmine in hand, being the only bright colour on her.Hazel looked relaxed in the car, though she was not. She was so tense, and her shoulders were vibrating inside her.She was more nervous than she was the first time she got married, and her grip on the wrapped stems of the flowers was tight."I will go to the hall and keep an eye until the bride is called in." One of the maidens volunteered and the others waited with Hazel. In the hall, Kai had said it to the MC that a few changes had been made in the ceremony booklet. Now, it had to be the wedding before the coronation.Everywhere was well arranged and two of the priests in the moon goddess's shrine were available in front.Silver lights were illuminating around the hall, and all the decorations were of silve
HAPPY WITH THE END.AUTHOR'S POV.This was a day that had been long planned by everyone in the Pack, the day the alpha was getting married to his mate whom he had rejected and regretted a marriage with, the day the alpha was ready to reconsummate their vows, and this time, he was more than ready to put the vows into consideration. But was the other party ready?Hazel was in the room getting dressed up by three maidens. The maidens' hands moved around so fast that it showed that they knew exactly what they were doing, and this was something they had done a lot of times in the past. They were experts in making over their clients."Is Luna fully dressed? The gown is ready to be worn." One of the women who designed Hazel's dress said and with the dress in her hands."Just a little more wait." One of the maidens replied. They pulled a plate of black stones towards Hazel on her seat, and slowly, a few of the stones were arranged and glued on her face, forming a crescent moon on her cheekbon
HAPPY TO NOT HAPPY.HAZEL'S POV.It took minutes and though I did not want to let go of Soren, I had to let him go. I cupped his cheeks with my hands and looked at his face, "You look so sick.""You don't have to worry about me, I am fine. This is not the worst place on earth. I have been to worse places, and see, I am fine." He tried to sound cheerful and without a worry, but I couldn't help but worry about him.I knew he was not fine.My gaze locked in his dead ones, and with my emotions uncontrollably, I said to him. "Can you please promise me that you will be fine? I don't want to lose you."That was when some emotions began to appear in his eyes. Hurt. Pain. Sadness, and maybe a little of gladness. Seeing him showing he was in pain got me hugging him back again."I put you through all these things, I am so sorry.""You don't have to apologise, I let you down first."My tears began to drop from my eyes, and mere thinking of what I had to do so that Soren would not have to suffer a
UNHIDDEN EMOTIONS.KAI'S POV.Now, I knew I had to be very careful with Haze as she already had a wolf and she could control it, maybe not perfectly, but with the way her growl sounded, I could tell that she had a future full of strength and authority. All she needed was a little training to boost herself out. But it was also dangerous, if she was pushed too much and she forced herself to be strong, her wolf might become a rogue, and in no way was that okay. She would become like her father, and I would suffer it.Therefore as it stands, I had to do everything in my power to make sure she goes through the normal way. That included my character. I had to keep my cool.....It was the time I set aside for us to visit Soren, and tomorrow would be our wedding.I was so excited about the wedding, and even when it looked like I was the only one who was happy, I didn't mind. It was good enough that someone among everyone in the family was happy.I quickly went to Hazel's chamber to get her,
NO RESPECT AT ALL.HAZEL'S POV.I didn't want to get attached like I was, not to Kai, not to my children. They all had disappointed me enough. What I thought would be impossible had been made possible by them.I thought my children could not live a day without me, therefore, I put my happiness aside for them, so that we could all live together. But I was wrong, they chose their irresponsible father over me.I had been ignoring them because I didn't know what could happen on the day after tomorrow, the day of the wedding. I was only planning things for that day, but after that day, I didn't know. So, to save myself, I had to stay away from the people who hurt me."Mama, we are sorry." My children apologised.I looked at them, "Why are you apologizing? Didn't your father tell you that you did nothing wrong?"They said nothing to my words, only guiltily looking at the floor like it was interesting.I looked up to one of the people around me and said to her, "Take the pups to the designer
WEDDING PREPARATION.AUTHOR'S POV.With just two days to prepare for the wedding of the alpha, the Pack had been busy and Hazel was the most packed out of them all.Her chamber was packed with people, so she had no space to freely move around. She was sitting down on a sofa with some people trying to pen down her desire about the type of celebration she wanted, "Luna, what colour do you fancy?" One of them asked her."Aren't we supposed to be talking about the type of wedding she wants? Maybe elaborated on one or one of a few people?" Another one of the wedding planners argued with her partner.Hazel saw that they both might want to bring out issues where there was no issue, so she quickly cut into their words. "No fighting, I'll answer both."The planners glared at each other. Both wanted to be favoured by the Luna, but Hazel here noticed nothing."First, for your question," She said to the second lady, causing her to smile, "Since the first time I got married to the alpha, it was do
