Chapter 60: The Gang

Sandra kept staring at Aaron who looked as if he was having the time of his life when he was on the phone. She wondered who that person was, the one on the other end of the line. He seemed so happy to receive the call and he even mentioned the word 'honey' when he picked it up earlier.

'Is that his girlfriend?' She wondered. Her heart which was initially empty was now starting to feel even worse. She really didn't want him to be taken away by another woman. 'He used to love me so much. I'm sure I can make him love me that way again,' Sandra determined internally.

As soon as Aaron ended the call, he went to the patio. The rest were now sitting there enjoying the food. There was no more food that needed to be grilled.

"Aaron, here. I put some meat for you on a plate," Sandra said as soon as Aaron landed his bottom on the chair.

She was sitting next to him about half a meter away. Feeling like their seats were too far, she deliberately pulled the chair closer to him and tried to feed him
