SMILES ORPHANAGE

The evening was crisp yet somber. The setting sun cast a rosy hue across the evening sky casting shadows on the ground. Rowan felt his heart soaring with delight looking at the familiar walls of the Orphanage decorated with cartoon paintings. The grass had grown greener and the flowers flourished merrily.

As he walked past the gates, the nostalgia filled his eyes and throat. Although he was away for a week, he still missed the warmth of this place. The memories tried to rush back but he blocked it, he was too indulged to let sadness and pain sink in.

It was almost 7 in the evening and he could hear the wild chatters of delirium from the dining hall. It was dinner time as per the schedule of the orphanage. He decided to freshen up before meeting the kids.
