Benjamin entered his condo, still trying to digest the hurt and humiliation he was pelted with, he had expected the accusation but the slap was definitely a bonus. Her fiery eyes encumbering her wrath made him drown in guilt. He wanted to confess the truth but he couldn't because in a life like his, Love was a treacherous lie and she deserved much more than that.

He stood under the shower and a tear escaped his eye. How cruel was life to compel him for curbing his feelings? He banged on the wall muttering profanities and retired for sleep, probably in hope of meeting her in his dreams.
