XANDER POV

I fucked up, I lost my control and now Lori was scared of being alone with me. She was beautiful, yes skinny but shape like an hourglass. She was smart funny and caring, she did not want a mate who was always hovering I picked up on that. We had dinner and I got to be a hero and save her friend.

I walked her back and Cody was not happy, he hasn't spoke to me like we used to since I tired to kill his mate. I know with Cody it will take time to get him to talk to me and I was willing to wait. I was sure she changed her mind because of him and his mate, after dropping lori off I went to speak to Alph Black. I hear he was looking for me.

He was still stuffing his face with the chocolate cake so I joined him on his table not the eating part.
