Packing up

MIA'S POV

After packing up my things, I caught sight of a photo of my father, taken a year before. The image filled me with a sense of bittersweet nostalgia, and I felt a lump in my throat.

His picture was a source of strength and inspiration for me. Whenever I felt down or discouraged, I would look at it, and it was as if I could hear his voice whispering in my ear, encouraging me to keep going.

Though he was gone, his memory would always be close to my heart. He may no longer be here, but his love and influence would live on in me forever.

I blinked back the tears and carefully placed the photo in the box, sealing it away with all the other precious belongings I had.

The box was mostly empty, save for a few personal items: some jewelry and makeup.
