"Is it because of Hannah…?"He barely finished his question before Henson slammed his fists against the table, rising to his feet with a cold glare. "Don’t push me," he warned, voice low and threatening. "Just do what I asked and stop talking nonsense."Without another word, Henson turned on his heel and strode back to the cell. Sitting here, after everything, he realized his worth had diminished—there was little he could offer her now.Hannah sneered. “Good. You finally understand how useless you are.”She pivoted to leave again, but Henson called after her, voice trembling, “I have my love to offer. We can build a family once I’m out of this place…”Hannah burst into laughter, ridiculing him. Confused and hurt, Henson stared after her, frustration bubbling within him. Then she scoffed, “Even in my nightmares, I wouldn’t want your ex-convict ass as my husband.”Without another word, she walked
