A SEALED PROMISE

Waking up by a kiss on my head and judging by the scent, I knew it was Dad. I groan and turn around, a smile made it's way to my face. "What time is it?" I yawn. He breathes.

"It's almost six, you look so cute when you sleep" he said. I sigh.

"How was work?" I asked. He chuckled lightly. He rubs his dark hair. I still wonder how is it that he isn't aging. I mean, Dad just turn forty though and he's so handsome, that's why Ethan looks like that.

"Work was great, I had McDonald's for lunch so that cheered me up" he replied. I smiled. "So young lady, why don't you wanna go to school tomorrow?" He asked.

"I'm heartbroken" I spilled. It's the truth. He frown in annoyance. Dad's annoyance always turns to anger.

"Who is this filthy boy that broke my baby's heart?" He asked. I lower my head, letting him know I don't want to talk about it. He sigh. "You look so down and hurt. I figure you won't be able to concentrate in school, so you can stay home till when you are ready" he said.
