Masuk"You called for me," I said standing in front of Jason.
"I would like you to accompany me somewhere," he said, and I nodded. "You will be given new clothes, and I want you to choose a nice outfit to wear with me." I nodded and stared as he continued speaking. "Someone will bring different dresses to your room, and I want you to choose from them," he said. "You may leave." Happiness filled my heart as I walked up the stairs. It was a good thing that he wanted to take me out. This was the first step to becoming a Luna. In the room, I chose the most beautiful gown and wore it. "You look perfect in what you are wearing," the lady who brought the dresses said. "So beautiful." "Thank you," I walked to him with a smile on my face, thinking that he would acknowledge the gown, but he didn't. He only stretched his hand to me, and I held it. "Let's go," he said and we walked out where a car was waiting for us. "Get in." I did as he said and entered the car. We got to a business meeting and I was about to take my seat close to him. "No, you won't be sitting here," I looked at him with pain in my eyes. Why can't he just acknowledge me now? "Stay there," he said, pointing to a couch where there was no one, and I obediently sat down. The meeting wasn't long as we walked out of the hall thirty minutes later. "Hand over your phone to me," he said and I looked at him. He didn't say it in a romantic way but I had to give him the phone just to prove that I would be a good Luna. "Here," I gave him the phone and he smiled. "Take out your SIM card," he said, and I obeyed. Then we entered the car. He did the unimaginable and threw my phone out of the car. "Why did you do that?" I would have gone out to pick the phone from the road if we weren't in a moving car. He touched my cheek and told me that he was going to get me a new phone, but what about the important documents that I had in the phone, and some phone numbers that I didn't bother to save on my SIM? "Alright," I said with gritted teeth not bothering to argue. We approached a phone store, and I was made to choose a phone. "I like this phone," I said and he nudged his driver to pay the bill. I understood the reason he did like that. It was so that no one would want to collect money from their Alpha. "Happy now?" He asked and I nodded. "This is beautiful than the other phone." I wanted to ask him the reason he threw that phone, but later thought against it. "It would be better if we could have dinner together," I said, and he only smiled. Getting to the pack house, I got down majestically and was expecting Jason to hold my hand but he didn't. "You should come inside, Susan," he said and walked past me. Hours later, I walked out of the room and heard some people whispering. "Alpha Jason got his guest a new phone," "It's so nice of him," "Do you think he likes her?" "I don't think so," a lady said. "He only wants to make her comfortable during her stay." The lady's last words sparked something inside me. They considered me the Alpha's guest. In my simple way, I was going to let them know who I was; maybe it would make Alpha Jason tell them who I am. I walked down the stairs and sat on the couch with my phone. Only then did I decide to check the phone, and I suspected that something was wrong. "What can be wrong," I asked myself. It felt like there was a spy camera in it but I didn't know where it was. "Why would it have a spy camera?" I asked myself laughing. "What are you doing here?" I heard an aged woman ask and got up. It was my first time meeting her. "Mother, she is my guest," I heard Jason say, and was amazed by what he said. I wasn't close to his mother when I was young, but I expected him to tell his mother that I was his mate. "Your mate," his mother said and I was happy that she recognized who I was, and Jason nodded his head. She looked at me once more then walked away. Taking my phone, I dialed Maria's number and told her that Alpha Jason got me a new phone. "Wow," she showed her excitement. "You should act like the beauty queen you are." I paused and closed my eyes. "I won't be a model, anymore." "Are you sad?" She asked. "It's a nice thing to be the mate of the strongest Alpha." I sighed after listening to her and asked about Mr. Marcus. "He loves your picture and plans to invest more in our industry," she said. "The only thing is that you won't be with us." We spoke about other things, then ended speaking, and then I called my mother. Getting up the next day, I looked and saw a beautiful gown on the hanger. "I am sure that Jason got this for me," I said then walked down the stairs. "Good morning." I collided with a woman and apologized then moved to the place Jason had told me was his reading spot. "I would clean there," I said when a lady was about to clean the table, and collected both the soapy water and the scrub from her, then began to clean the table. In my mind kept ringing the words, 'I am the Luna, and need to take care of Jason's need'. Done cleaning the table, I took a dry napkin and used it to dry the table. "What are you doing here?"Returning to the pack house, I took off the mask and looked at Marcus. I felt nauseous from within, but didn't want him to know. "I will go to rest," I said. It was already showing that I was pregnant, but it wasn't too obvious. Getting to the room, I rushed to the toilet where I vomited. After cleaning my mouth, I turned around and met Marcus's gaze. "What are you standing there for?" I asked and he laughed. "It seems like you vomited your entire system," Smiling, I used a hand to hit his chest and he held my hand. "I told you not to follow me," Holding his hand, I said some lovely words to his ears. We joked like little children would do. Some months later, I walked in the field, enjoying the cool breeze that filled the air, when I felt my water break. Holding on to a stand, I tried calling for someone in the house. My phone wasn't with me; instead, I would have called Marcus with my phone. Finally, someone rushed out; it was Sonia. Seeing my condition, she rushed in
A hand covered my eyes from behind making me smile. "You don't need to do this, honey," I heard no voice so I tried holding his hand, but my hand was sent down. "What's this, Marcus?" I asked but heard no voice. This made me smile as I thought he was been naughty but I felt uneasy. He kept moving me forward, and I inhaled his scent. "It's you," I said and he laughed. "Who were you expecting?" Raising my hand, I tried to touch his hand but my hand was sent down again. "I wasn't expecting anyone, but your actions are strange," Finally, he took his hand off my face, and I saw a man and a woman. "Go with them," he said. "This way, Luna," the young man said. Behind him, the woman followed, and I wondered why Marcus didn't follow us. I had an eerie feeling remembering how Marcus had left me at the time he had lost his memory. "Susan, relax," I told myself. "Nothing of such is going to happen." After stealing a glance backward, I saw that Marcus hadn't moved an inch. "Luna!"
Looking around, I shook my head. Who among the boys was I to choose since they shared a striking resemblance? I awoke and rubbed my eyes. Trying to get up, I felt heavy and sighed as I relaxed on the chair. "Am I going to be weighed down by my pregnancy?" I asked no one but myself. Done with his work, Marcus walked to me and we decided to go to the field. My phone rang and I smiled seeing that it was Sarah's call. However, my smile was short-lived as I remembered the last time we met her. "Who is it?" "My sister, Sarah," "Why don't you answer it?" "What if they are arguing?" Marcus smiled and advised me to answer the call. Answering it, I turned on the speaker so that Marcus would hear, and he could advise them. "I am pregnant," she said and I could hear the joy in her voice. "He wants me to have the baby in the pack house." I understood what she meant, but why did he want her to give birth to her baby here? Before I could ask, she continued, "As a form of appreciation.
He was pleased with the tea served to him and looked around. "Who prepared the tea?" They pointed at me, and he wore a surprised expression; then he looked at my stomach. I knew what he meant, but I did what I thought was right. "Don't worry," I said. "I'm alright." The following morning, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and woke Marcus, who was still asleep. "We should take our bath," Marcus said after he had called Collins. After getting dressed, we were informed that the doctor had arrived. "Alright," Marcus said and the next thing I knew was that I was on his arm. "Alarie, why are we weak?" I asked my wolf. "You are carrying an Alpha," I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. My baby has an Alpha spirit. That was good enough. I was checked and advised to rest. "Thank you," I said. I returned to the room and walked to the bed, not closing the door, then pandemonium was held outside. "What's that?" I asked no one and wanted to walk to the door when I slipped. "Ah," I
My blood pressure got stabilised, and the nurse checked me. "Where is Sonia?" I asked, and he responded, saying she was with Nathan. I was advised to remain on the bed for an hour before a final checkup was carried out on me. "Alright. Thank you," Marcus said as she left then he walked to me and held my hand. An hour later, a final checkup was done on me, and I was relieved to hear the baby in my womb was alright. "You need to take care of yourself," the doctor said then looked at the nurse Getting out of the room, Sonia, who was weeping, rushed to me. "Thank you for not leaving me," she said and I saw her wince at her father. Holding Sonia, I blamed Marcus for making her cry. "I should be blamed," Nathan said, jokingly. We left for the car, and Marcus told Nathan to drive back. "Why?" I asked. "I am alright." He looked at me for a while before telling Nathan to move ahead. I could see the excitement on Sonia's face and it was like she could understand what was going on
Sonia continued shivering day after day. She was treated for fever, but it refused to stop. "What can we do?" I asked myself as I was confused about what to do, then a thought came to my mind. What if I am destined to have a child? I shook my head telling myself that I only feared that I lost Sonia's twin. "Sonia would be okay," I told myself, and repeatedly shook my head. Marcus, who was beside me, asked that everyone who was beside us leave. "What's wrong?" He asked, and I buried my head in his chest. "What if Sonia dies?" This took him by surprise, and he asked what I meant. After explaining to him, he sighed then rubbed my hair. "You don't need to worry," he said. "Everything would be alright." I shook my head as I felt uneasy. "Let's hold a prayer," I said like I was pleading and he reminded me not to doubt. "I feel uneasy." He nodded his head and promised that he was going to call for a fast. "Thank you," I said. That evening everything was prepared for the prayer
