Broke his favorite vase

 I turned to see Jason standing by the door and told him that I had just cleaned his table.

 "What about the maids?" He asked and I needed to explain myself. "You shouldn't have done that."

 I blinked my eyes and pleaded with him that I should behave like his Luna.

 "Alright, suit yourself," he said then walked in. He grabbed what he needed then turned to leave. "You should be in the living room by eleven." 

 I watched him leave the room with a smile on my face as I promised to do anything to please him.

 Getting to the living room, I was introduced to a man.

 "You will learn from him," Jason said and I opened my mouth in shock.

 This made me remember when I told Jason that I wanted to complete my education. He had told me that he would get me someone, but does he know what I was studying in university?

 "What would he teach me?" I asked.

 "He is going to teach you the pack rules and how to behave here,"

 "But you said that I would be homeschooled," I said, grumbling, and my gaze turned to his mother, whom I went to greet, but she walked away.

 "Jason, I need to complete my education," I said, holding his hand, and he pointed to my back. "I am sorry."

 His driver was standing behind me while I was speaking to him. I walked away and silently sat in a corner.

 "That's the only thing you are meant to learn," I heard and looked up to see Jason who had a grin on his face.

 "What do you mean by that?"

 "I will soon introduce you to everyone as my mate," he said. "Once they know who you are then they won't like to see you studying."

 As much as I loved the idea of being introduced to everyone as the Luna, I would like to complete my education. I felt irritated by the words that he spoke, but later agreed.

 After he left, I saw my phone ring and it was Maria.

 "How are you doing?" She asked. "Is Alpha Jason treating you well?"

 "Yes, he is," I said with a large grin on my face.

 "I am sure that he would allow you to continue your studies," she said, laughing. "He would protect you with all his strength."

 "Maria, I need to talk to you," I said, and realized that I wanted to tell her about Jason's decision. No, I can't do it. I can't betray Jason's trust.

 "Yes, what is it?" 

 I thought about what I could say.

 "Can you let me know what Mr. Marcus decision is?" I asked and she responded positively.

 "I thought it was something serious," she said and I laughed.

 After the call, I got up to my feet and looked at the screen that was on the wall.

 "Does anyone use it?" I asked a male servant who stopped and looked at the television.

 "It's meant for guests," he said and left.

 I was surprised by this revelation, and thought of putting on the television but didn't do it as I was not an ordinary guest but a Luna. While walking, I tripped on something and it broke.

 "What have you done?" A maid servant asked. "How can a guest do something like this?"

 I felt irritated by the way she spoke and wanted to speak back to her when I saw Alpha Jason standing on the stairs.

 "I am sorry," I said and the lady dropped her broom.

 "You need to clean it," she said.

 I felt hurt looking at my mate who did nothing but stare.

 "I am Jason's guest," I said and she laughed. "Taking the Luna's position is your game."

 I didn't want to respond to her because how would that speak of my behavior when they discover that I am their Luna?

 "I would clean this," I said, and bent to clean when we heard Jason clear his throat.

 "Oh, Alpha," the lady said with respect. "Your guest broke your favorite vase."

 I was sad that I broke something he loved, and pleaded.

 "Why would you do that to her?" He asked. "This is the first time she would be doing this so why act like this?"

 "I am sorry, Alpha," the lady said, and collected the broom from me.

 "Jason," I called, trying to hold his hand, but he moved away. "Thank you."

 I knew that he was sad that I had broken his favorite vase.

 "I would get a new one for him," I said with a smile on my face then walked to the place I saw him go.

 There, I saw him speaking with a man and I guessed that they were having a meeting.

 "I would wait for him,"

 Soon I saw him walking out of the room and rushed to meet him.

 "Jason," I called. "I plan to get another vase for you."

 "Really?"

 "Yes, I will," I said, and saw him laugh.

 "That was the family ancestral vase," he said.

 Hearing his words, I became remorseful. If not for me, it wouldn't be broken. Now, I knew the reason the lady acted rudely to me.

 "What can I do to make it up to you?"

 "Don't worry about it," he said. "I am not angry."

 I wanted to touch him, but he avoided my touch. After he had left, I returned to the place the lady was cleaning and asked if I could help her.

 "No," she said blatantly. "Alpha Jason is going to make you pay though you are a guest."

 I was confused and told her to speak clearly, but she didn't respond; instead, she ignored me.

 "You may act in an unruly manner toward me today, but I promise that you are going to regret this one day,"

 What would she do when I am introduced as the Luna, Alpha Jason's mate? I knew that by that time Jason was going to dote on me.

 I carried myself with pride and walked away.
