LOGIN"No," I mistakenly said, and this made him look at me.
"What did you say?" he asked, and I cleared my throat, taking a deep breath. "I want to complete my education," I said then looked at Maria. "I need to spend time here." Alpha Jason bent to give me a peck, then asked if I was worried that my best friend wouldn't be able to see me. "No,... uh huh yes," I said looking at Maria, and he pulled me to his body. He felt restrained while he was hugging me, as if he didn't want to hug me in public. "She would be invited to visit you," he said and touched my cheek. "You will be homeschooled." I was happy with what he said but still needed to be let out. I wanted to explore things and be able to think, but what could I do other than obey my mate? What would I do if he gets angry with my refusal? Moreover, I have liked him since I was young. "I hope you are fine with this?" he asked and I nodded. While going out, I waved to Maria with a grin on my face. Hours later, we got to his pack. It was the strongest pack in the world. "Wow!" I said looking around, and laughed. "What is wrong?" Jason asked with his hand in his pocket and I shook my head. "It's nothing," "May we go into the pack house?" He asked, and I nodded. We walked into the pack house, and I looked around. "Don't you like the..." He was saying when I used a hand to close his mouth. "I like everything," I said with a smile on my face and he led me up the stairs. "This is your room," he said, opening the door, and I smiled. "Aren't we meant to spend tonight together?" "Not yet," he said. "I need to make this official." I nodded my head and walked to see the areas in the room. "I will see you later," he said and left the room, shutting the door behind him. I sighed then walked to the curtain and pulled it open, but before I could take a step away from the curtain, I heard a knock on the door. "Who is that?" I asked as I walked to the door, where I saw a lady. "Alpha Jason wants you to come for lunch," she said, and left immediately, as if I weren't someone to be respected. Anyway, I don't need to show her that, and should only wait for Jason to make me officially his Luna. I walked down the stairs and saw Jason with some men who were sitting at a round table. "Come here," Jason said on seeing me, and I walked to join him. "This is Susan." The men exchanged glances and Jason laughed. "The lady chosen for me," he said. "My Luna." I smiled, and was about to lean on his chest but he slightly pushed my head away. "Do not let anyone know about it," he said. "I would find a day to make it official." The men nodded, and some of them shot me a glance. "Having that said, let's eat our meal," I glared at Jason as he ate. Maybe I was expecting too much from him as I wanted him to feed me a bite. My phone began to ring and I closed my eyes on seeing the caller ID. "I need to pick this call," I said, and left for a far place where I spoke with my foster mother. "Alpha Jason took me to his pack because I am his mate." She was so happy learning that Jason was my mate, and reminded me of the battle I had to fight. "Now that you know who your mate is," she began. "I would like you to go to the Pack you came from." I understood what she meant, but why would I go there? My father made me promise not to come back to the pack, and I will only go there if Jason wants to go. "Alright, mother," As soon as the word, mother, left my mouth I remembered how my real mother loved me. Now, she was with no child. "What are you doing standing here?" I heard from behind and wiped my tears before turning back. "Jason!" I called and hugged him, but he pulled me away. "You have always been like this since we were young but my sister isn't here." "You should come along," he said without looking at me. I guess he was sad that my sister was no more. "Jason!" I called, but he didn't respond, so I had to increase the pace at which I walked. I felt guilty for reminding him about my younger sister. "I am sorry," He pointed to my food and told me to eat before it got cold. It sounded to me like a romantic way of speaking so I went to eat. "Where is he?" I asked, looking around as I couldn't see him, then got to my feet when I was done eating. "Do you know where Alpha Jason is?" I asked a lady who walked up to me with a bag. "No," She went to pick up my plate, but I stopped her. "Don't touch it," I said. "Just show me the kitchen." "Over here," she pointed forward, and I followed her lead. Since I wasn't an Omega I decided not to wash the plate. I decided to familiarise myself with the kitchen staff. "What are you making?" I asked a woman, and smiled when I saw what she was cooking. "As the Alpha's guest," she began. "You do not need to be here." I smiled and decided to leave the kitchen. I shouldn't let her know that I am Jason's mate until he decides to let everyone know. With a smile on my face, I went to my room where I laid on the bed. "The Alpha wants you downstairs," I could hear a lady's voice say, and I immediately got up from the bed.
After resting for a while, he decided to go out, and I held him back when I remembered Sarah. "Have you released Sarah?" He sighed and shook his head. "I planned on releasing her after I find you," I nodded and watched as he took out his phone, dialed a number, and told the person on the other end to release the lady they were holding captive. "Do not disclose my identity to her," he said. "Return to your pack after that." I opened my mouth as I heard the last words he said. He employed people who were not from both our packs to do the job. It can only mean that he didn't want them to be traced. "What are you thinking about?" I told him my thoughts, and he smiled. "It's that simple," he said. "I want no one to trace them." "What if Sarah gets to see their faces?" "Do you think they are stupid?" According to his explanation, Sarah's face was going to be covered with a sack. "She won't see them," It was perfectly planned as all Sarah saw them wear was fake. "I like that,
I felt happy hearing the first name that was called. It wasn't that I was happy that someone was called, but I was glad that I wasn't called. The second person was called, and it still wasn't me, making me happy, but when the third number was called, I didn't understand if it was really me. "Come out," I didn't want to agree with him, but thinking about Madam Owen made me move forward. The moments I had spent with Marcus replayed in my mind. "Where are you, Marcus?" I asked no one as I remembered the vows we took. Was it over between us? "Who will like number four?" Two men raised their hands, and the man who was the boss told them that they would need to compete for her. While the men competed, he moved to the next lady. Two men also raised their hands and were made to compete. My heart raced as he pointed to me, and asked who wanted me. To my surprise, only a man raised his hand. He was wearing a sunshade and dressed in a ruffian attire. My eyes blurred as I looked at Madam O
It's been two days since we've been away from the Elite pack. I sat with Madam Owen as we reflected on the last two days. "I believe we would get out of this place," Madam Owen said. "I wonder what Marcus is doing," If we were to stay for many days here, we would no longer be able to use our power even when we get out of this place. "Mother, how do you think Marcus is going to get to us since we didn't leave any clues behind?" She smiled and held my chin. "He is an Alpha," I nodded and told her that I was happy that we had seen her driver. The day before, we were sent to perform a task, and we saw the driver. "Let's rest," she said, and I laid my head. There was a knock on the door then it was pushed open. "What just happened?" I felt sad thinking about what happened. A man walked up to us, and I asked him what he would have done if we were naked. "That's none of my business," "It may not be, but..." Madam Owen held my hand and told me not to speak like that. I knew t
Opening my eyes, everywhere was blurry and I was on a bench. Trying to think of the place I was, I remembered what happened on our way to the industry. The door flew open and I saw Madam Owen walk in. She was dressed in a widow's garment. "Where are we?" "I really don't know," she said and touched my forehead. "You have a high fever." "Mother, do you remember how we got here?" She sighed and nodded her head. "We were knocked out," I tightly closed my eyes as I held Madam Owen's hand. "What are you trying to do?" "Trying to communicate with Marcus," She tapped my head making me open my eyes, but before she could speak, the door was pushed open. "You should be hungry," a man said walking to us. I asked if we could see the driver, and he laughed saying that ladies weren't allowed to see men. "Why did you dress my mother in a widow's garment?" Madam Owen held me back and explained that she told him that she was a widow. "But you aren't a widow," I shook my head and move
His phone rang and he pulled me closer. He switched to a video call, and I could see Sarah. "You can release her tomorrow morning," "Yes, boss," I turned to look at him. They called him boss. Does he run an illegal practice? "Don't look at me like that," he said. "I am not their boss, but since I gave them a task to do, they can call me boss." I didn't say anything but watched as he stood. Three days later, I sat in the living room thinking of all that had taken place over the past few days. I got to know that Marcus could be ruthless, but he hadn't done anything apart from loving me. "Susan!" I heard someone call my name. The voice was so familiar and it was a voice that I loved to hear. "Mother," I hugged Madam Owen and looked around to see if anyone was nearby. "What were you doing before I came in?" She asked picking the thing I was doing. "Trying to knit a coat for a child," She nodded her head and asked where her son was. "He is in the industry," I said with a smi
Getting to the pack, I looked around and memories of my younger days clouded my mind. "This place hasn't really changed," I said and Marcus held my hand. "It has only been ten years," Thinking about the day I left the pack I noticed that it was exactly the tenth year. "I should celebrate the day I left this pack," "Why is that?" I told him what I was thinking about and he smiled. "You are returning to this pack ten years later," I nodded and told him that I won't want to show my face. "None of us here are showing our face today," he said and I frowned. "Unless I have a change of mind." As the car kept moving, I smiled looking at some places that I could remember. Soon we arrived at the pack house but none of us came out of the car. I saw a lady walk out of the house and immediately recognised her. She now looked older than when I last met her. She looked at the car and immediately ran into the house. Soon, three people came out, and Alpha Damon stood behind them. "Do you
