That phone call, in an instant, darkened his bright day. He was sure who was on the other line. That voice, he knew it.

That was him, the old man whom he ran into Campbell Park across Tiffany Blue the night when odd occurrences terribly knocked him with shocking terror and absurd affliction. That was nine years ago but Jeremy could still remember him as clear as day. But that was not the first and last time their paths crossed.

Five years ago, that old man suddenly showed up on Desf Road and gave him the black silk thread bracelet. And even until now, how that old man quickly disppeared before his sight on that endless and empty road still bothered him.

When that old man called him Heron from the other line, for the first time in so many years, that name began to haunt him again. Like flashes of lightning that suddenly disturbed the tranquil dark sky, strikes of overwhelming fear started to frighten him.
