NATHALIE DAVIES’ POV

“Sir William, is there a problem?” I asked when I caught him in the living room looking at his phone with a frown on his forehead.

“Nothing.” he tilted his head and smiled. “I just seemed to be deaf to Sir Calix’s questions.” Sir William shook his head while grinning. “By the way, I thought you were resting? Are you going somewhere?”

“I was planning to go see my mother at the hospital. I can’t rest until I’m sure she’s okay.”

Sir William glanced at his wristwatch. “It’s a bit late at night. I’ll take you to the hospital.”

“Really?”

For now, I’ll do all the saving first to save up, plus I need to get to the hospital faster so I can catch up with my mother before her surgery.

“Of course. Smith’s hospital isn’t that far.”

“Thank you very much, Sir William.”

“Don’t call me Sir anymore. You can just call me William.”
