Not counting Nathalie’s civil status, which is processing divorce papers, nothing else is updated on her resume. She doesn’t have any criminal records. It seems she hasn’t been to the police station. Her father has already passed away.

I put down the folder containing Nathalie’s information on the table. I had her investigated and it seems everything she said was true, that she just happened to see my daughter. But I still want to be sure.

I called Wallace’s contact number. “Is what I asked you to do sorted out?” I asked the moment he answered the call.

“Yes. Nathalie is with the presentation you requested, also she has been assigned almost all the work. She worked overtime because I disapproved of her work.”

“Good. I owe you this one.”

“Don’t mention it. Are you going to the party later?”

“No. I have something else to do.”

“Do something else or are you going to stalk again?” I heard his laugh on the other line.
