Casper on his knees

Casper climbed down from the car and took the dark shade from his eyes, the sunlight burned as he stared up at the massive skyscraper but he just couldn't look away, not yet.

“Mr Jon... Please can I show you inside?." He heard a soft feminine voice say, he turned his gaze from the building to the woman.

“Sure." He said walking behind her as she led him inside, he walked past the security and they got into the lobby.

“Do you know Loretta McDermott?." He asked the lady leading him to the elevator.

“Yes I do. She used to work here."

“Used to?." Casper asked in shock.

The reason why he was coming here at all was because he wanted to see her. He could not get her off his mind, she's in his dreams, she's the first person he thinks of when he wakes up, she's just everywhere, haunting him, he sees her in everything he does, he hears her voice everywhere.
