Four

“What you're asking for is impossible!." Mr Shawn said

“No it's not, I have only one right, to terminate the contract after you have gotten your inheritance." I retorted.

“If you leave now, you leave with nothing.. not even a single cent." He stated.

“If I leave after a year, I leave with ten million dollars and a few properties but trust me, it would be my loss not yours." I managed to say through fear.

" I have the right to tell you when to leave!." He said to me. I closed my eyes to take in some oxygen. He was absolutely correct, he had rights over me, I was some loose product, my life was not even mine.

“Set me free, grant me my freedom. I would leave without taking a single cent, you have gotten your inheritance money, my aunt and uncle have enough to live a comfortable life, my parents debts have been wiped away. I have served my purpose, at least grant me freedom to do whatever I please with my little life." I told Mr Shawn, he fought with the odds and came to a conclusion.

LATE AFTERNOON

“You have been served. Sign here." The lawyer said to me. I stared at the divorce papers on the desk. The agreement was clear, I leave with what I came with, my phone and an empty purse.

My aunt made it clear, I am no longer of use to them and I shall not be welcomed in their new home if I continue with the divorce. I don't have any friends that I could go to, it's the streets.

“Mother, Father... Where ever you're watching from, help... " I said and I took the pen from the lawyer, I scribbled my signature.

" Done!." The lawyer told Mr Shawn

“Now, leave!." Mr Shawn told me.

MIDNIGHT

I wandered until I saw a park that was no longer in use.

It managed to rain, I sat on a bench in the park while the rain fell. My clothes clung to me like a second skin.

I looked up at the sky, it was empty. I looked around the park, it was empty. I fell within myself, I was empty.

SMACK!.

I jumped from what I thought was my bed, reality hit me pretty quickly, a bench in the park. It was morning, a figure was standing in front of me and I had slept through a downpour, my body was shaking.

“I thought you were dead." The voice said. Sharply, I looked up, I only saw a silhouette of the figure, the sunlight from the sky was playing tricks with my eyes.

I coughed violently.

“We need to get you to the hospital!." The voice said and there was urgency in the voice. The voice sounded deep and masculine, it had a rich accent to it, it sounded like a voice I could follow in the dark.

“I don't have any money..." I said standing up, I took my first step in the murky ground that was soft and soaked with water.

I fell, the last thing I remembered was the smell of wet soil.

BEEP!

The sound of a heart monitor, the smell of antiseptic, the voice of a guy, no wait not one, two or maybe three.

My eyes flew open.

“She's awake!." Voices said in unison. I looked around the hospital room to find three men.

One had golden blonde hair, sharp grey eyes, straight nose, a boyish grin and cherry lips. The second one had sandy blonde hair, he was not smiling but his eyes were soft, They were green and you could almost touch the innocence in them. The third and last one... He was... Marvelous. His hair was somewhere between after dark and charcoal, it was very dark, his eyes were brown and you could tell they would glimmer in sunlight, his eyes were intense, there was a small smile at play on his lips and when he spoke, I knew it was him at the park.

“You have scared me twice and I don't even know your name." He said.

" Where am I, who are you!." I demanded from them as if they were three big wolves and I was a lamb.

“Relax, we are not going to hurt you..." The one with grey eyes said. He stood up from his seat and I gasped, he was f*cking tall and muscular.

“It's easy for you to say, you're the one above six feets." I tell him and then his child like demeanor resurfaces with a wide grin.

“I like her already." He said to the others.
