Eren's Point Of View

I wrap my arms around Emily's shoulders, cuddling her to sleep. She needed to rest; she had a really fucked up night. One that was all my fault. This pain she felt, it was all my fault and I will be damned if I allow it to happen again.

I should have protected her better. It was my duty as her guardian entrusted by Peter. She was mine to shield and protect from this world and I almost let that vermin get his way with her.

Thank the moon goddess that I came in just in time or else tonight would have ended up much worse.

I was going to kill that bastard that dared to touch my person. Whoever he was, I was going to hunt him down and kill him.

‘She is asleep now, human!’ I heard Zane, my wolf, growl in my mind. He was eager to get some payback. To punch something, anything to release the rage we both felt. He wanted to spill some blood.

My phone screen lit up, it was a text message from Finn.

‘I’m outside Stoneheart's place.’ the text read.

5-Something I know for sure is Eren is not to be messed with and he showed Chase. He will make sure this creep pays. He will do whatever he has to do to protect Emily. He is going to watch and dissect everyone around him carefully. I have to say it makes me smile every time he calls Emily his person

4-I think Emily is safe even if it turns out to be Finn. I don’t think he’ll reveal he is a traitor after his failed attempt. I do think if Emily wakes up while Eren is gone she will be wary and fearful. She is going to want Eren because she feels safe with him and freak out with him not being there

2-I’m confused. I’m with Zane. I’m not so sure Chase admitted to the attack on Emily. I think Chase had plans but someone else got to her first. He was happy about the attack because he knows it hurts Eren. I still have him on my suspects list but I won’t be surprised if him and Eren end up allies.
