Silence.An eerie and dead silence crawled inside the closed room after the three words escaped her lips. Everything turned so still that one could even hear a pin drop. No words were exchanged after that heated conversation.
Evelyn looked at Dylan nervously, her hands were trapped in his large ones. He was still sitting on his knees in front of her but he was quiet, awfully quiet. His posture had turned rigid. His gaze was fixed on their intervened fingers but his face held an unfathomable expression. Deadly calm and stoic. But Evelyn wasn't able to digest his calmness. It only meant two things...

Black Estates, America Evelyn had locked herself in a random cabin and was pacing back and forth like a mad woman. She wasn't asleep, she was just pretending. Dylan got a call from Mr. Swift and he immediately left. Taking the chance, Evelyn ran out of his cabin not caring about the weird glances which she was receiving by the people who were present in the hallway. She went inside a random room and locked herself inside it. Evelyn was utterly terrified of Dylan. The fire which she saw in his eyes was not of anger or lust but of madness and a sick obsession. She thought finally she had moved on, finally she could live her life as a free bird. MY GENIE Chapter 34: Let the past go
"Whatever you do, never run back to what broke you" Evelyn's P.O.V. I got off the bus and started walking towards the Black's Palace. My mind was a mess. All the hectic events of today had totally exhausted me. I looked around only to see a few kids playing with each other, few couples walking while smiling and cuddling with each other. My heart twitched with pain as I saw these carefree people who are enjoying their life and then there's me whose life is a no more than a melodrama. I don't know why people can't let me live in peace. I don't know what wrong I have done with everyone. Neither I fought with them, nor badmouthed about them, nor mocked them nor passed them rude taunts. Then why the hell they are bothering me? Black's Palace 12:00 a.m. Evelyn was in deep slumber when all of a sudden, she felt something soft beneath her. Her brows furrowed and unconsciously she removed her hand from her eyes and touched it. Her breathhitched. It was a bed. Evelyn immediately opened her eyes as she sprang up but was immediately pushed down by a heavy weight that was placed on her lower waist. Shelooked down only to see a veiny, muscular arm wrapped around her waist possessively. Her brows creased in confusion. She turned her neck to the right only to flinch back in fear. Dylan was sleeping right beside her; his face held an expression of peace and content. Evelyn instantly jerked away his hand. Dylan frowned and opened his eyes only to see Evelyn glaring him. But to her surprise, Dylan looked at her and his lips broke into a smile. Evelyn: Why am I- "Happy birthday my Genie"

Brandon: HURRYYYYYY!!!!!!! Xander: WAIT IDIOT!! I WOULD HAVE TUMBLED UPON THE STAIRS. Xander yelled while gripping the wooden railings at Brandon who was standing at the entrance wearing a scowl. Well, Xander and Brandon had thrown a grand party for Evelyn's birthday in Blue Moon Hotel. They both were ready in their expensive Armani suits and were looking devilishly handsome. Xander abruptly stopped near the staircase. He then walked to the mirror that was placed on the left side of the staircase and started checking his hair. Brandon: WE'LL GET LATE MARILYN MONROE!! At Blue Moon hotel Brandon's P.O.V. Xander and I have been waiting for Evelyn and Aunt Maria for the past 30 minute but there was no sign of them. Xander kept glaring his shining Rolex every now and then impatiently while I was also getting fretted as to what was taking them so long. This hotel was none other than mine.
