In the middle of the night, Mishka woke up, finding the space next to her on the bed empty. She sat on the bed and her sleepy eyes scanned the room, stopping at the door of the balcony. She yawned, stepped down from the bed and walked to the balcony.

Christian was smoking, standing against the railing facing the opposite direction, and Mishka came to stand next to him. “Why do you smoke so much?” She asked, and Christian quickly crushed the cigarette under his foot, waving off the smoke.

“Are you okay? Do you need something?” He asked, and Mishka nodded.

“You!” She smiled. “They can’t sleep without you being close to them" Mishka gestured to her belly. "And I can’t sleep without your arms around me.”
