A day before the wedding,
Wearing a dashing blue suit, Christian was waiting for his potential client at Coffee House. He gazed at the wedding ring in his hand and his mind started buzzing with chaos, thinking about his decision to marry Andrea.
He took a deep breath, pushing the velvet red box back into his trouser, and decided to read the latest novel by Author Scarlet to calm himself but some incidents in the book felt familiar to him as if it has happened to him before, and this created another series of questions in his mind. But shrugging all the thoughts off his mind, he totally engrossed himself in reading, flipping to the next page, when a twenty-seven-year-old woman approached him.
“Christian Knight?” She asked, furrowing her eyebrows as her honey-coloured eyes stared at him.
Christian averted his gaze from the book and peered at her. “Oh, my god!! How are you?” She asked excitedly while Christian tried his best to recognise her.
“Do we know each other, miss?” Christian asked.
“Yes!! I am Amelia Scott. We have met once before. I am the former assistant of Author Scarlet. Now, I work in Spain and just came back for some business.” She answered and Christian got excited at the mention of his favourite writer and rose from his chair to greet her.
“Oh, really!! Please sit. Fancy a cuppa?” Christian offered, but Amelia politely declined while disconnecting a call from her child, who was waiting outside for her in the cab outside.
“I have to catch a flight, maybe another time.” She smiled and hurriedly ended another call, waving at her child that she was coming.
“I really need to rush or else we’ll miss our flight. But give my love to your dear wife and ask her to call me sometime. It’s been so long since I heard from her, she has totally disappeared.” She said and swiftly turned to leave, leaving Christian confused.
But the next moment, she stopped and turned as if she remembered something important. “Oh, by the way, is it a girl or a boy?” She inquired.
Christian creased his forehead. “Girl or boy?” He asked, suddenly feeling his heart drumming against his chest.
“Your wife Scarlet was pregnant when I last heard from her. So it’s a girl, boy, or twins?” She asked again, but her mobile phone started ringing, distracting her.
“So sorry, I really need to rush.” She said and ran out while picking up her call in the process, and Christian was left stunned, watching her leaving the café.
He stood rooted in his place as if his legs lost the ability to walk, but the next moment, he dashed outside the cafe to question her but the cab left in front of him and he cursed under his breath, watching the cab from behind.
“Author Scarlet? My wife?? What the fuck is missing??” He screeched, pulling his hair in frustration, and slammed his fist on the pillar.

To begin with, my debut novel is finally completed. I’d like to thank each and everyone who loved MY INDIAN WIFE right from its inception. The book is nowhere near perfect. It has grammatical errors, mistakes, and typos, but despite all the shortcomings, the love and support I’ve received from you all are heart-warming and something I’ll always cherish. Now that this story has reached its conclusion, it's time for Christian and Mishka to say goodbye. But goodbye doesn’t always mean the end. I’ll come back sometime later with Eric and Kiara’s standalone books. The spin-off of ‘My Indian Wife.’ But till then, you are welcome to join my other book "Billionaire's Mistress Is A Hidden Heiress' to experience the other shades of love. Again, a big thank you for giving a chance to my book! I never thought I’d come this far, but you all made it possible. If you liked this story, please leave a review to help the book reach new readers. Goodbye is boring so until we meet again, Sayonara!!
“If everyone is sitting together with tears in their eyes and Pasha is reading out this letter, then I am sure Rosella has finally decided to see me and it also confirms that I have fulfilled her last wish. Today, my kids are together, not only under the same roof, but they are together with all their hearts and soul. My kids are stubborn but responsible. I never wanted to be a controlling father. I believed in giving wings to children and letting them decide the direction where they’d like to fly. But when Rosella passed away, I had to take this responsibility up on my sleeves to keep you three together. Luke and Rony, you both have been the strong pillar of this family, and for Berry, I’ll give her a benefit of the doubt because she was greatly influenced by Dan. The man who left no stone unturned to destroy this family, yet we are still together like one big happy family.” “Vera and Rose, my two beautiful daughters. All I can say is thank you for everything you two have done for th
A month later,Leo was walking alone in the garden looking over the Knight mansion, and the day when he married Rosella, the twenty-one year old stubborn girl, who had her way to make anyone surrender to her demands. She was sometimes even more stubborn and childish than their three kids and most of the time, Luke, Rony and Berry had to act mature and pamper her, especially Luke, their eldest son.Leo’s old eyes travelled to the musical water fountain in the middle of the garden, and soft music reminded him of Rosella. It was Rosella’s idea, and they used to spend evening tea in the garden while enjoying the soothing instrumental music.“Dadu!” Mishka came beside him and wrapped her arm around his shoulder, and she found him crying. “Why are you crying?” She cupped his cheek, trying to look at him. “Are you not feeling well?”“No, I am fine… am good,” He answered looking up at her, but Mishka wasn’t convinced.“Let’s sit, come.” She took him to the bench near the water fountain and Le

In the fifth month of pregnancy,In the middle of the night, Mishka woke up, finding the space next to her on the bed empty. She sat on the bed and her sleepy eyes scanned the room, stopping at the door of the balcony. She yawned, stepped down from the bed and walked to the balcony.Christian was smoking, standing against the railing facing the opposite direction, and Mishka came to stand next to him. “Why do you smoke so much?” She asked, and Christian quickly crushed the cigarette under his foot, waving off the smoke.“Are you okay? Do you need something?” He asked, and Mishka nodded.“You!” She smiled. “They can’t sleep without you being close to them" Mishka gestured to her belly. "And I can’t sleep without your arms around me.”Christian smiled, his hand caressed her protruding belly. “I am sorry for waking you up!” He said. “Let’s go!” He held her hand, and they walked inside. “So what was so urgent?” Christian asked, taking a sip of his coffee.“Jennifer is back!” Sean, the officer, told Christian and the latter’s hand stopped in the midway, staring at him.“I came for a conference a month back and I saw a glimpse of her. I wasn’t sure so didn’t inform you but I met her a few days back!” Sean said, but Christian abruptly cut him off.“I want to see her!” He firmly stated.“But she doesn’t want to meet any member of the Knight family,” Sean said.“It doesn’t matter. She is back with a purpose and I’ll not let her ruin anyone this time!” He said and Sean sighed comfortably sitting on the couch.“The first thing I did after regaining my memories was to find her. Jennifer holds a hell of a lot of secrets of the Knight family. She joined hands with Dan to split my parents. She tried to drug mom, and she is definitely up to something this time, but not again!!” Christian said.“Okay! I’ll see if I can arrange a meeting.” Sean said.“Just when everything falls in
