"What.... happened?" Rowena asked with a shaky voice.

There was a hush in the room at this question.

She still held her hand in her head as I held on to her other hand.

"You've been unconscious for days." I said. My voice was low.

Rowena's brows furrowed in confusion at first. But they went wide after a second.

"Oh." She said. "I remember."

I nodded. I was finding it difficult to say more. She went through all of this solely because of me.

"You almost died."

The voice was cracked with emotion.

Everyone turned to Oisin at the same time. Tears streaked down his face and his sniffed.

I was surprised to see him look like that. That was the first time I had seen him cry since the first day I met them.

Oisin usually kept his cool no matter what happened. He was more inclined to being happy and having adventures.

But it seemed like this was too much for even him.
