Now that Lukas was dead, Elena and I could finally move on with our lives in peace. We left his body lying there in his yard and figured that some stray animal would get rid of it for us. I decided to believe Mike when he said that he hadn't told Lukas that we were coming but at the same time I made a mental note to keep a very close eye on him. Mike was not to be trusted and there was no way that I was going to give him a position that was going to make him close to me. I wanted to keep him as far away from me as possible for the sake of my peace of mind.
