CHAPTER 9 COME BACK TO ME

Aiva's POV

After the encounter with Lucas, Cassie, and the other she-wolves, I have become more cautious while trying my best to stay away from them. I don't know what exactly they want from me. I am just trying to find a job in order to continue.

The next day, I decided to go look for jobs at all the places I marked the vacancies. I was already invited for the interview and I waited in line like other people. However, when it got to my turn, I heard something strange.

"I'm sorry miss Aiva but the interview is over. We have found the person we are looking for." I heard.

"What?"

"The interview is over. You can leave now." The receptionist said and I didn't have a choice but to leave.

That wasn't about to bring me down. I know I still have a few other places to go even if these people reject me. I proceeded to the next place in my list but they didn't even give me a chance.

"You're not qualified to have an interview here." They said. What kind of reason is this?
