How does it feel when your long-term boyfriend, your former mate, rejects you in front of the whole world of yours for someone else?

It boils and stings inside you, right? 

The same thing happened to the eighteen-year-old Aiva.

(Aiva's Pov)

My heart clenched tighter with each word Lucas said. 

"I, Lucas Larson, reject you, Aiva Red as my mate." These words threw cold water on me and all my dreams.

We had been for six years! Yes, six years. I had given all my teen years to him yet, he rejected me for a woman he had just known recently, after two months of our engagement declaration.

I smiled, not wavering a little bit as Lucas' face turned pale in shock. I scoffed, playing with my hair as if I was unbothered by all of it. "I do not accept your rejection, Lucas."

"Aiva, you!" He frowned, casting me a death glare when I chuckled.

I gritted my teeth, reaching out for our engagement ring as I pulled it out slowly and looked at it carefully with a smug face, before throwing it to him. "I, Aiva Red, reject you, Lucas Larson. And from now on, we shall have nothing to do with each other."

His teeth clenched as he went to grasp my shoulders in humiliation of what I had just done but I scoffed, turning to the opposite direction as I scurried out of the academy.

Six years of our relationship, and it was all gone just like that.

"Ugh…" I moaned, placing my hand above my chest while tears streamed down my cheeks. "Uhh…" 

It hurt so much. The rejection was so much more hurtful than I imagined it to be. Just, why? Why did it have to fucking happen to me? We were all still happy yesterday.

"Ring, ring. Someone is calling." I flinched at the sound of the ringtone when I let out a laugh and wiped my tears before I picked up the phone.

"Hey, you bitch! I'm telling you if you do not pay back what you owe us within a week, we'll sell both you and your brother!"

"I-I…"

My heart thumped crazily as I heard his words while fear engulfed inside me. 

My day couldn't have gone any more wrong. 

Where should I get money now? I sighed, inwardly as he continued to curse me from the other side of the phone.

(Leo's Pov)

"Aiva," I murmured, smiling at her photo through my phone. 

She was short, almost as if the Moon Goddess crafted her as a tiny little cute thing. Her dark curly hair fell up to her delicious-looking ass. It almost made me lose my control of my desire to choke her right there, fucking her in front of everyone. Her emerald green eyes were so innocent and deep as if she was reading away all my dirty desires about her. Her nose and ear piercings were unusual, but they only added to her sexiness.

And, she is the manager of the Bikers' Club, my employee. And, someone I could have never got for myself. Or, so I thought until she found me in my office that night, and I smelt her. "Mate. She was mine." 

It was pure torture to watch her every day, shaking her ass while clearing all the bikes and doing her job. God knows, fucking how many times I almost lost control, and had to take care of by myself because of her. The worst days were when her worthless boyfriend tagged along with her. It made my blood boil, and I had to take care of myself not to kill him on the spot.

I thought that I would never get her. But, who knew her boyfriend to be so stupid as to lose her? 

I knew how exactly to approach her and get her. And, I did. 

I consoled her, yet, a dirty fact was that I was actually happy that the scum of her boyfriend left her. I do not know if it is a bad thought, but all I know is I got her.

She turned out to be my mate, and I vowed to myself never to leave her. I'll haunt her for my entire life. 

Damned arrangement that I made with her. If she expected me to follow that, she is way too innocent. She is mine, and even if she wants to leave me, she is mine. Only mine.

I vow.

His shining golden hair was enough to catch anyone's eyes. Everywhere he goes, he becomes the main attraction. His dark eyes added to his beauty. But, what attracted the she-wolves and wolves alike were the strong bulging tanned muscles of him. He was well-trained. He was the Alpha of the Howl Pack by work, but a biker by passion. 

His club was only meant to be a place of dealing with underground deals but it became something more to him when Aiva entered the club as the manager, and he broke his plans for her.

Vowing not to let anyone outside of the underground world in, he broke his promise. For HER. And, found his newfound obsession.

Just a sight, and he lost all his sanity, vows, mind, and heart. That was the power of Aiva over him. But that also made everything dangerous.

Aiva had just faced a heartbreak, will she allow herself to fall for her new boss, her new Alpha, her new Mate? Or, will she distance herself from him once and for all?

But there is one thing for sure. Leo wouldn't let her escape from him. 

He could have gotten anyone he wanted but the only one he ever wanted, didn't want him the same way. Ironic. Yet, that didn't matter to him. As long as he is alive and she is as well, she belongs to him. Only him.

What would Aiva do when she finds out he is her second-chance mate: Be with him, or, Escape from his grasp?

But if she wants to escape, will Leo agree to it? Let his obsession, possessiveness, and love for her go just easily?
