"Acouple of husband and wife on behalf of Mario Pedro and LucreciaLanzo, officially divorced today, on the 13th September"

Tok, Tok, Tok

The announcement that a decision had been reached by unanimous vote was made by the sound of the judge's gavel striking its pad. and the separation was declared to be final.

Everything finally came to a conclusion today after three separate divorce trials. She failed, and the household she worked so hard to create ultimately fell.

She had failed to win her husband's heart. No, he wasn't her husband anymore since the judge's gavel was knocked, he was her ex-husband. 'Mario'. The man who caught her attention, until for the first time she asked her father to help her.

Well, she managed to marry Mario, but no one could expect, while at the hotel Mario actually said everything. About his heart that had had an owner, about the fact that he would never love her.

She was disappointed, but to defend her ego, she put on a poker face as if this matter wasn't a problem for her. She set a strong and great shield, as though she was okay, although in patency her heart was broken into pieces. As right on her wedding night, her husband admitted that he loved another woman.

But she didn't quit, by making her family name as a motive, she made a deal to separate after 1 year of marriage. And she was determined to make Mario fell in love deeply with her. So that when they had to divorce, Mario resisted it and wanted to defend their marriage.

That was what she expected.

But in the end, she failed.

It turned out to defend her marriage and making Mario fell in love with her were much more difficult than leading a large company. Because of the reason, they were officially divorced.

"Luci, from now on we're officially apart, I'm terribly sorry if I've ever hurt you." Mario said gently yet stays prestigious. Well, that was the important point why she loved that man.

"Ah, so do I, forgive me if I was bothering you all this time," Lucrecia said while shaking her ex-husband's hands as they were in parking lot and about getting into their own car.

"You weren't bothering me at all, even I think that you're too independent and great as a woman so that makes me envy," Mario stated while letting go his hands grip from Lucrecia's palm.

'Then why are you still divorcing me? Is your love that important?'-, Lucrecia thought sourly, listening to Mario's confession which, unfortunately sounded sincere.

"How about a cup of coffee as our farewell?" Mario proposed in breaking stillness as Lucrecia was just quiet.

"At the cafe we first met?" Lucrecia asked to offer, then Mario noddedoff as the answer that he agreed.

"Alright, I think a cup of coffee is better as the end of our story. So, see you there" Lucrecia said waving her hands while getting into her car.

They did come along with their extended families to witness their divorce, but both Lucrecia and Mario drove their own private car.

After getting into the car, Lucrecia immediately burst into tears. The smile and calm face that she had been showing throughout the trial, really drained her energy. It was close, if Mario kept her outside a little longer, she didn't know whether she could hold out until the end or not.

After feeling still, Lucrecia drove her car towards the area they've agreed on. Right over there, at the same place three years ago. Mario sat down in the same position as they met for the first time. It was just, for this time Mario was the one who was waiting for, not her.

"I didn't mean to be late," Lucrecia said when she got to the place.

"Sure, lady. What do you want to order?" Mario asked standing up, he was going to order coffee.

"Original gayo, non sugar" Lucrecia mentioned her order which Mario nodded off for it.

After couples of minutes, their order set in. They were just having light chatter while occasionally Lucrecia chortled.

"I have no idea that you have such a good sense of humor." Mario quipped in the middle of his laugh.

"It's because you've never tried it. Besides, you're a narrow-hearted man to accept my profound presence.” Lucrecia replied with humorous tones to every word. Even though in every word it also meant satire.

That was a harsh satire for Mario who was still in love with another woman while he had been married. It was such a tragic story, loving one who loved someone else.

"Hahaha, you're sarcastic as always, I think I'll miss it," Mario Chuckled then took a sip of his coffee.

"Thank you, I'm flattered by your compliment,"

After that, the both of them were silent.

Lucrecia stared at her glass, she was doubt to tell what on her mind is. But she had to tell it soon, as the day was going to be dark.

"Ehm, I'm going to pick up some of my personal items tomorrow," Mario said, trying to break the stillness.

"Don't you live there? Didn't you the one who buy the house?" Lucrecia asked, surprised.

"But the house is on your behalf if you don't remember it," Mario was reminding Lucrecia. "Moreover, isn't the house included in the martial property for you?" Mario was asking back to remind Lucrecia about the point in the divorce paper.

"There's no need, let's make it like this, I'll never take anything that belongs to me except something that I've had, and I'll never demand anything of what that I've given to you," Lucrecia said, trying to stay calm, although in fact, her heart was beating hard.

"If it's the matter, the house belongs to you, as it's on your behalf,"

"No, I don't want it," Lucrecia resisted quickly. 'There are lots of painful memories there'-, Lucrecia thought.

"Why?" Mario asked, he seemed disappointed

"I'll move out of town, expanding my company,"

"Manhattan?" Mario asked.

"Well, I'm not sure, too many places that I want to visit, so I hope you catch what I mean," Lucrecia asked sincerely.

"You manage to sell off the house, or you can turn it into an orphanage foundation. If you're planning on making it into an orphanage foundation, I'll give you a hand, you can call me at any time," Lucrecia kep talking until at last she drank a final drop of coffee in her glass.

Lucrecia turned around at Mario who seemed dejected. She didn't understand why that man showing up such an expression, but she didn't really care. For her, this moment was the best time to close all doors for him, before she got in trap in a fancy yet painful delusions.

"Thank you for the coffee," Lucrecia said. unseating her coffee, afterwards she arised from her sitting position. Followed by Mario as the answer then he stood up as well.

"For the last time, I was so glad to know you this a whole year, at least I know that you're a favorable person," Lucrecia stretching out her hand to Mario.

They're shaking hand each other for a while, smiling at each other. At least so, until Lucrecia says. "Don't request me to come to your wedding, if our divorce isn't 3 years yet," Lucrecia whispered when she left the cafe.

"Why?" Mario asked quickly.

At least he could see her face for the last time, because for this moment, Lucrecia had walked a few steps away from him, and her back was the only thing that was seen.

"As I'm afraid I can't let you go, but don't worry, we're gonna be fine,"

That was the last utterance what Lucrecia said on that day.

Although at the last utterance they didn't look at each other, at least they were aware from now on their relationship was over.

Lucrecia had been ready to close all memories about herself and Mario. And getting start for a new life, with a hope of herself to find a true happiness. For this moment and later.
