The 'FOREST'

I looked up at him and said, let’s go now.

Mr. Josh just smiled.

I took his hand and started walking.

But I was feeling sleepy.

He noticed immediately.

Before I could say anything, he picked me up.

He carried me all the way to the room door.

I went inside and changed quickly.

We drank coffee together in silence.

4 tall men standing in front of me.

Their teeth were bigger than humans.

Sharp. Dangerous.

They were vampires.

I screamed and started running.

They ran after me.

Suddenly I tripped and fell hard.

My ring started glowing.

Bright blue light.

When I looked back, I saw Mr. Josh.

Standing there.

And a wolf’s growl came from him.

Mr. Josh.

A fight started between him and the vampires.

He killed them all with his bare hands.

Then he turned to me.

His teeth were like a werewolf’s.

Long. Sharp. Deadly.

But there was a wound on his chest.

I saw it and my heart broke.

I put my hand on his chest.

And tied my dupatta around the wound.

Slowly he became normal again.

His wounds were healing on their own.

Fast. Too fast for a human.

But blood was pouring from my leg.

When I fell, a piece of wood had gone into my foot.

Mr. Josh knelt down.

He touched my foot with his hand.

And the wound healed instantly.

Just like magic.

Then everything went dark.

I fainted.

When I opened my eyes, people were calling my name.

Bella! Bella!

I heard Anna’s voice.

Anna! Anna!

She came running to me.

I looked around for the vampires.

But there was nothing there.

No blood. No bodies.

They took me to the car.

I was telling Anna what I saw.

I saw werewolves. Vampires, I said.

Anna laughed nervously.

We were in a jungle, Bella.

In jungles your mind imagines anything.

But I knew what I saw.

And I knew who saved me.
