A sense of indignance filled Yvie’s heart when she heard the discussion going on among the employees in the design department. These evil people did not know what a nice person Jocelyn was.

Jocelyn picked up her phone in the stairway. She spoke to Michael expressionlessly, “Hello, is there anything that you need?”

Michael huffed coldly. “What’s wrong? Are you not even going to bother calling me your father now?”

Chills erupted in Jocelyn’s heart when she heard his voice. She replied in a sarcastic tone, “Are there fathers that drug their own daughter and try to gift them to other people?”

Michael choked when he recalled everything that had happened last night. There was an uneasy expression on his face as he asked, “Jocelyn, what’s the relationship between you and Skyler Moore?”

“Does this have anything to do with you?” Jocelyn asked in a harsh tone.

“Are you not afraid that I’d touch your uncle’s company?” Michael’s voice was laced with a sense of threat.
