Chapter 4 - He Left her

"We have to hide in a safe place before nightfall."

Xavier said with a sigh. And he took Azfarin down from his shoulder. She was quickly adjusting her shirt, taking a deep breath. As long as it was on her shoulder, it looked like she was about to fall. She looked up at the stranger standing in front of her. He was still breathing. He raised his head with his hands on his back. He was now busy looking at the trees around him. It seemed to be part of this deepening evening.

"This tree is fine."

He pointed to a densely covered tree. Its branches hung down long and covered its trunks, and the lower trunk was not high enough to climb. Xavier was now standing beside her, looking at the tree with searching eyes.

Azfarin looked at the tree swallowing saliva on how to climb. She had never climbed a tree in her life. The thought of climbing a tree began to perish.

"I don't know how to climb"

Azfarin said in a frightened voice, her face was also nervous. He who was busy estimating the height of the tree looked at Azfarin in shock. Come on, she can't even climb the tree now. He raised his eyebrows. She made a spiritual face like a child. Now she was looking at the tree. Her innocent face was turning red from place to place. There was still grass in her scattered hair. Dude, what can I do to save this girl? I am stuck in torment. He opened his mouth and looked around wearily.

"Climb on my shoulder"

He sat down with one leg folded down. And he gestured with his hand on his right shoulder. She was standing tall. Now, as he climbed on top of it, Azfarin swallowed his saliva.

"No, no, I'll just stay down here."

Azfarin said nervously. Fear of falling from the tree came and how could she climb on his shoulder. He stared at the now-eaten way. The darkness was getting darker.

"Safe down, why don't you understand?"

He said angrily at the sound of her terrified voice. And came to him in a confused manner

"Climb over my shoulder and then grab this tree trunk. I'll tell you how to climb above it."

Xavier said in a depressing manner and placed the fingers of both his hands intertwined on his knee so that he could bear the weight of it. She put her hand on the trunk and as soon as she put her hand on it, she hung up. He got up quickly and grabbed her by the waist and lifted her up.

Feeling the grip of his hands on her back, she felt a strange embarrassment for a moment. What was he doing that was suddenly coming? With his help, she had shown courage and was now sitting on the trunk.

He himself had skillfully reached the trunk of the tree mess. Now, in the same way, he had raised Azfarin to two more trunks.

"Let's sit here. I have to go up."

He pointed to the place where the tree was leaning. Azfarin reached there slowly stepping on the trunk and with her legs hanging on both sides she was now leaning against the tree.

" I'm afraid I'll fall."

She said in a low voice and looked at him in fear. “Let's just put the bed here for madam.” He thought.

"Don't fall. You have a big trunk. Yes, some insects will climb. Don't panic. You have to catch them quickly and throw them down."

He reduced the volume of his voice with restraint and said that she was already so nervous that water had not been found on top of her so that she would not cry. He was frightened by the crying of the girls anyway. Once they started crying, they did not stop.

"Listen, are there any snakes on the trees?"

Azfarin looked around in shock. Xavier nodded sadly. The one who was stuck in the tree to reach the top trunk stopped.

"Yes, it can be."

He gritted his teeth and then hit his head in the air and looked up. "Don't worry, I have to go upstairs to see if they're coming."

He used to comfort her in a busy tone. Now he was going upstairs. As soon as she saw, he was climbing from one trunk to another and had disappeared from sight.

The darkness had increased. Strange voices were coming from all around. There was also a rustle in the leaves. Ten to fifteen minutes had passed while she was sitting alone. Despite the deepening darkness, she was looking up again and again. There was a little light left. Suddenly, the rustling of the leaves became more and more. Where did you go leaving me.

"Listen"

Azfarin quickly put his hand on his heart and breathed a sigh of relief when the boy's voice came from nearby. It was getting darker and darker.

"Yes"

Azfarin said in a soft voice. When he arrived, her heart stopped beating. There was a strange feeling of accompaniment. Perhaps this satisfying feeling was due to his bravery so far. Whoever he was was but he was an intelligent, strong and brave man of evil, she had never seen such a brave man with her own eyes in her entire life. He was now sitting right in front of Azfarin.

"They're about to arrive. There are five or six people. I guess from the flashlights. I'm still some distance away. I have to get rid of them. You sit here.”

Xavier hurriedly lowered his voice and said that he looked nervous and breathless. After hearing the news, Azfarin's condition had worsened. He took a rifle and held it in his hand. He was holding it while she was sitting unconscious. When he took off his rifle, she regained consciousness.

"No, no, please don't go."

Azfarin was terribly frightened and her whole being was shaken. She cried badly. The whole being was trembling with fear. Sweat was flowing from her head and now it had reached her cheeks. Xavier was terrified of her crying like this. She was a very timid girl.

"Listen, listen, and please stop crying."

He put his hand on her shoulder and said in a consoling tone. But it was as if nothing had affected her. She was trembling and a strange sound was coming out of her mouth as if a child was crying in fear.

"If I don't come back, you have to reach a resident tribe here. It's in the jungle. I'm sure they'll shelter you and help get you home."

He was now explaining in a soft voice, but she was constantly crying, just listening and not understanding.

"Please don't leave me here alone, please."

Before he could turn and descend from the tree, Azfarin squeezed his arm like a child. He struggled to free his arm. She was also weakening him when he did not want to miss the opportunity to hide in a safe place before the men arrived and kill them, and their indiscriminate firing here could have harmed her as well.

"Don't be mad, just sit back and if I can't come."

Speaking angrily, he had not yet finished his speech when Azfarin approached and placed her hand on his mouth and her trembling hand had choked his words.

“Why are you saying that? “

Azfarin was terrified. He slowly removed her hand. He was starting to feel sorry for her but he couldn't sit here hugging her.

"Because anything is possible."

Slowly he released his arm with his other hand and a stump came down. She was still crying.

"Well, I'm going. If I can’t come then get off in the morning and look for that village. Now I know this is the same jungle in Sydney, Bye."

Azfarin was looking down when his voice came and then he was gone.
