What A Heart Wants

 

ALTHEA'S POV

 

I stared vacantly at the faraway flickering lights on the faraway houses. The leaves and branches of the trees dancing along the gust of cold wind. My window was wide open, and I inhalled the cold wind that came inside.

My eyes was heavy from wanting to sleep already. I felt tired. My mind was foggy from all the thoughts swarming in my head. I can't stop chewing my lower lip as my fingers tap anxiously on my knees. I can't stop.

I feel giddy. And at the same time, scared. Anxious. I can't really think properly right now. The only thing thats running on my head is that, for the first time; I'll be able to talk to my mother. Finally.

But what am I going to do when I'm in front of her? What should I say? How should I react? What is she like anyway? Will she be glad? Will she recognized me?

I don't know anything about her. Nor my father, too. Since wala naman silang relasyon at 'di rin sila magkakilala noon, walang kaalam-alam si Papa sa kanya. Ang madala
