"How did it go?" Andrew asked softly as they drove back home. He placed her hand on the gear and his large hand was on top of hers giving her soothing feelings.
"It was normal." She said truthfully.
"I do feel light." She continued. Sharing her inner turmoil with someone felt a little light for her. "Good. You are my strong Chloe. You'll get over it."
He squeezed her hand and his voice was kind, sending tingles to her stomach. She smiled at him.
"Now I must give you a reward." He said thoughtfully, earning a light chuckle from her. "Really?" She asked in a jolly way, making him smile as he took a U-turn and finally stopped the car in front of an ice cream parlor.
