Chapter 6: Do Not Try, Or You Will Die

My heart was pounding when Ares was holding my arm. His manly scent lingered on my nose as his scoundrel stares got me.

I took my arms away and then gulped. "I… I am not!" I hesitated to tell him to believe in me.

His eyebrows twitched, his expression remained the same.

"The bathroom was full and I was trying to find an alternative comfort room."

Ares craned his neck, he doesn't seem to sway based on my explanation. He was hardly not believing. Not to mention the alibi I've said was a stupid thing. Well, I can't think of another problem to spit out because I was so damn nervous!

"You're searching for another, really?" He stated as he began to come close, bearing his cold eyes beforehand.

I began taking two steps back. My inner self desired to scream but seeing everyone around the area was his men, standing like robots.

"Explain why you have to run while looking behind?" he asked, caughting me. "Because my men were running after you."
