53| The Gentleman

Amaira's POV

After everything had returned to normal, we decided to return to the palace, where guests were awaiting us. We are already late, and we can't keep them waiting any longer. The newlywed couple went in one car. Groom's parents took another car, and the rest of us settled in a separate car.

The entire ride was silent since we were all engrossed with our thoughts, and no one talked about what had just transpired a few minutes before. No one wanted to even think about it. Austin and Lady Catherine Were sitting nonchalantly as if fights and all were nothing out of the ordinary for them.

I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't come to know when the journey ended and the car came to a halt in front of the palace. Lady Catherine was the first to emerge from it, and Austin quickly followed her.

I was a little exhausted from the three hours of makeup plus the situation in the chapel, so it took me a minute to come out of it. I am also feeling weak because I haven't eaten anything
